  1. I am on a similar page. I think he will get slightly more than $7 though
  2. That makes sense on why he is not signed. Good point of view and probably the most realistic. Especially with the quality of the team New Orleans has right now. Brees throughout his entire career has played the hardest of hard ball on his contracts..
  3. That is VERY interesting. I would assume New Orleans put that in the contract?
  4. That is a great GIF. Do I think Brees will sign here.....no. Is it possible.....yes. Are we a SB contender with Brees......yes! I think we could do both! Especially since we give up nothing for Brees from our roster or picks. Hilarious..........NOT!
  5. Totally agree! Go McBeane!
  6. He is not a shut down corner. He is a zone corner. And, he isn't getting shutdown corner money at $15 million a year.
  7. Good thoughts. I always wonder how much athletes should consider their landing spot and fit as much as they should. For example, if you are playing at a high level become the player's skill matches the team's scheme and the player excels........will that help them maximize their current contract and help them get a good contract after. I don't think agents care as much as they are in a pay now business FOR THEMSELVES.
  8. Hope so, fingers crossed!
  9. I don't remember that, but, its funny!
  10. Two year deal for $6 million per year. Sign me up. But, I don't think that will do it. I don't think he is on McBeane's radar either with TOO many issues and he doesn't seem to be learning from them. But, ME I would still take him for Two years and $12 million.
  11. I remember something about Dawkins (which was a minor incident) and the Bills stating they liked how he learned from it and where Dawkins head was at. So, with that and other players pointed out in this thread....the Bills will evaluate each player individually which IMO is a good way to do things!
  12. I agree he wants committed, smart football players FIRST. I am also interested to see where their thresholds are. EDIT: Henderson was weed for "pain killing" for his disease. He was on the team last year and we were weak at RT. Henderson never played unless of injury or using a 6th Olinemen. I had a sneaky suspicion that Henderson was a year prove it to the Bills that you are have your priorities together. Just a thought.
  13. I wonder what his price tag is. Just spit balling and would think $6-$8 million a year. If so, I think we are not interested.
  14. Nice to know. I was unaware. That is interesting. What was the substance? Weed, performance enhancing drugs or other? It would be interesting if we can tell and/or figrue out McBeane's general stance on substance abuse and if they differentiate between performance enhancing and extracurricular drugs?
  15. Agreed there. I am a fan of Nigel's though. I love his mean streak, but, it doesn't lead to undisciplined penalties.
  16. Disagree....IMO Luck, Eli and Newton had less question mark. Eli and Newton did have question marks though. I just think Wentz had more question marks. Thanks for the breakdown!
  17. Totally. And, through off the other teams that they were going to draft up to grab Trubisky.
  18. If they would do that....and they might......awesome!
  19. Go Bills! Agreed! It may and probably is the best move for them? Depends on Luck's shoulder.
  20. Not if he is healthy or CAN get healthy!
  21. Huh, didn't know that, nice!
  22. That is a good plan.....usually. I have a feeling we have so much draft capital and relationships with the FOs in the top 10 draft slots in the draft and timing along with timing and this is just setting up well for us! I think we have our basis' covered and have some option/trades already in place. 1. Cleveland - Dorsey - good rapport (traded with for Mahomes last year) 2. New York Football Giants - Gettlemen from the Carolina Panthers with McBeane 3. Indianapolis - meh, Frank Reich (don't expect anything from it, but, maybe a tie breaker) 4. Cleveland - Dorsey - good rapport (traded with for Mahomes last year) 5. Denver 6. New York Jets 7. Tampa Bay 8. Chicago 9. San Franscisco 10. Oakland
  23. I would lean towards we have a deal at #2 with the New York Football Giants too! Good relationships and needs that mesh together. If you are going to acquire something along the lines of 21, 22, 53 and 65 for #2..........if I am the Giants I want to know before hand to set up my draft board. Big difference having #2 and having # 21, 22, 53 and 65. Planning for the New York Football Giants would make the move have a better chance of success.
