  1. Amen! Tis' a great day!!
  2. That is what I am hoping for. But, I think by the time the draft rolls around Mayfield may be the #1 QB for many teams. If we think he is the #1 QB too......go for it. We have the capital to get there (if we have a trading partner and I think we will).
  3. I don't know what I think about that. Sherman will probably need a year to recover to get back to his peak. His peak will have dropped too. Not sure if that is a good move for SF?
  4. No...signing McCarron IMO is less likely than trading for Foles.
  5. Agreed. I thought a 5th AT BEST! I am starting to Billieve a deal for Foles may be done. A little connecting the dots with articles and a gut feeling. Oh my. It may work out for the Browns....but, if they take Allen and with all these moves I think they are imploding. And, handing back the draft picks they acquired for half a decade back to the field. I hope they execute a good plan this offseason. But, I don't feel good for them! Bahahaha Magic! Well, well, well, another sign of a better constructed FO team top to bottom. And, MAGIC!!
  6. Haha, most likely now... Kidding aside they are making moves to get to 6-10. I don't like what they are doing. BUT, can't tell what the Browns are actually doing till the #1 and #4 picks are gone in the draft.
  7. Disagree. It is probably the case that other pins will fall in order. But, you can get any value at all for TT you take it. We got GREAT value!
  8. I am leaning towards that too. I think he is the best of the crop and has the least red flags. Disagree. I disagree they wouldn't trade TT without a deal in place. You get what you can for him and that was a steal!! I do agree they MAY have a deal in place to move up for specific pieces.
  9. All QBs should
  10. I hope I missed the sarcasm. One because I hope I missed the sarcasm. Two for the Browns. They don't deserve that. Dorsey is picking a QB with #1 or #4. Or a trade down or up to #2 or #3. He just is.
  11. Wentz is ahead of schedule and may be ready for TC or week one. Supposedly. But, that would suggest a trade is more possible.
  12. I like your thoughts on that. I would also entertain Ivory’s down two seasons were maybe due to a much lesser roles and even the 4th RB at times. Cheering for Ivory now. Hopefully he’s rested and not dinged up. And thrives in the RB2 role!
  13. I agree with you. Foles deserves credit. And, if Foles deserves no credit than either does Wentz.
  14. Terrible news! Good luck Jimbo! Thoughts are with you and your family!
  15. Bahahaaa! Funny! The Pats * probably have that play. 95% sure it’s not called that. But, 5% chance that is exactly what that play is called!
  16. I agree with that. I just made a comment that I think there are better odds (or teams can leverage their odds better) in the draft than a coin flip. However, since you brought up the thought of signing Ivory. Depends how the contract is structured. If it doesn't effect the cap and it really barely does on a one year deal. Lots of depth players get signed and then cut before the end of camp. Essentially signing a vet like Ivory to a one year deal if cut before camp would leave us taking a cap hit for the signing bonus and paying out the signing bonus. Let's call the signing bonus $300K. We take a cap hit for $300K, the owner pays out $300K and we have secured Ivory as our depth. If we have better depth when camp breaks we cut him. A two year deal can be very similar depending on the structure, but, really just the signing bonus is the cap hit.
  17. Disagree. Totally agree to disagree. The draft takes a lot of moving parts into account and sometimes all the preparation you do won't pan out because of the human factor along with other things. But, you can leverage your odds with preparation to have better success rates. AND, there is no substitution for coaching and daily agendas and practicing.
  18. HMMMM..........IMO....... Tolbert serves ZERO on field purpose. Any other purpose Tolbert serves does not make up for his inabilities on the field. He is just not good enough anymore to make a positive impact over the course of the full year. So, he serves no purpose when you only have 53 roster spots. If we want Tolbert to be a part of the team hire him as a coach.
  19. All positives. We have built a great staff starting from the top...down. It is important as that is how you can sustain success.
  20. Disagree. I like Ivory more as he runs different than Shady. North and South runner in Ivory and punishing.
