I am not advocating a 5 year Sabres style rebuild. Cut the mediocre players due for big raises like Tyrod, load up on draft picks, trade back when you can. Two great drafts and we can compete. If we try to but a band aid on the gunshot wound we will be worse off next year.

The play caller is critical. We don't know yet who is "creating the defense" but it looks like Frazier will be much more involved than people thought. You can have the most aggressive defense on paper but if Frazier is calling the plays he will be very conservative. He can't help himself.

Leslie Frazier is Dick Jauron 2.0. If you like play not to lose and defenses so simple the other QB is calling out your plays, let's do this. No. Tyrod Taylor is a bottom 5 starter. Leslie Frazier should not be calling plays for any team.

This Buffalo roster needs an infusion of youth and talent. This is not the NHL where rebuilds take more than 5 years. I believe if the Bills recognize where they are and restructure the roster we will be AHEAD of where they would be by pretending we are contenders as soon as next year.
