Does anyone understand who is making the decisions at One Bills Drive? This collaboration stuff has been going on since Donahoe left and it makes talking about Bills decisions impossible to discuss.

Fair enough. I agree that I wouldn't pay him but if I wanted to go for broke and make the playoffs next year I would franchise tag him. I don't see a playoff roster so I would go for the comp pick.

More than tanking or rebuilding vs going for it my biggest concern now is that the Bills don't actually have a strategy. The last few years we were trying to get in the playoffs or bust and now we have no idea what the Bills are going to do. If the Bills GM tells the Pegulas he is ready for the playoffs and then wins 6 games he should be fired. I really hope the Bills do a sober assessment of this roster and execute a plan, any plan. Following a flawed plan well is better than just throwing stuff up against a wall which seems to be what we have done the last few years.

Yes, I would let BB act as GM. Why? He cuts good players because he sees the big picture. 99 percent of football coaches can't think beyond the next year. I don't think McD is some BB in waiting.

Any fans that want their coach to be GM will be in for a world of hurt as the roster crumbles. Bills already messed up last year spending 3 picks on an inside linebacker and not drafting Dak with one of the traded picks. Coaches will never want to cut TT. We need a real GM with power here.

I don't see Whaley pulling the trigger on Watson. Watson is about 210 lbs soaking wet. But this does show the Bills are looking at QB's and doing their diligence. I expect others of the big 4 to be announced soon.

I asked myself if they had their QB would John Murphy invite a guest on to explain why the Bills shouldn't pick up Tyrod's option? I mean this is a brutal interview where he makes me sound like a TT fanboy.

You don't need much to sell hope in Buffalo. Rex Ryan was a failed coach who got record season ticket sales. I would draft Chad Kelly in the 6th round and sell people on Cardale vs Chad. $$$$

Depends on how many people are at the table. The Bills purpose for the last 20 years has been to be mediocre to bad. Never bad enough for long enough to get stocked with elite talent. Never good enough to get to the playoffs or win a playoff game. I want my team to play to win the whole thing. Tyrod is a bottom 5 starter. You don't pay that guy 30-40 million.

I honestly think if we full tank only the Jets and 49ers would be pushing us. Cleveland looks to be on the way up but we have to really be creative to outdo the Jets.

Keep Dareus, Shaq, Hughes as your DL core. At linebacker I would try to trade Ragland if we could get a second round pick. Offensive line is nice but needs some youth. WR all we have is Sammy. We need to draft a few. We need to draft WR's, Corners, Safeties, and QB's. Kyle is also long in the tooth and if a DT drops that we like we should grab them.

Yes, I don't think the Bills have zero talent. But I do think we are headed down next year and want to use the year to clear cap space and get younger. 2 great drafts and we are the Raiders.

And Robert Woods, Chris Hogan, Goodwin, etc 7 wins is not even 3 games from making the playoffs. We need 11 wins to guarantee that.

Bill Polian has lost a lot of authority due to many of his recent statements. Also, whether a rookie could beat out Tyrod day 1 is not how you make the decision. You are thinking like a coach. Get me the best player I can get for the next game. Bills GM and fans need to think like GM's. Look at Bill Belichick. He routinely cuts players that are good and replaces them a year or two early because he is working the big picture.
