  1. Isn't this the craziest situation ever? What coach would want to cut TT? No one except for Belichick. Coaches want to win now, they don't think about next year. The idea that our GM will let the coaches sway his decision shows what a horribly run organization the Bills are.
  2. No wonder EJ looked worse after years of Bills "coaching" then when he came in as a rookie.
  3. It's too bad that the Bills are trusting Doug Whaley picking our QB. He mentioned EJ's hands a bit too much when he drafted him. How about pocket presence and accuracy?
  4. Better to keep people close then let them go elsewhere. If the Bills spent as much time on finding a QB as they do with PR (done badly) and marketing Bills would have found their QB by now.
  5. Very odd to state that. Maybe 49ers trying to get someone to trade up?
  6. "Mahomes took note of a conversation with Peyton. “He watches himself over and over again,” Mahomes says. “Peyton watched the TV version of himself. He watched as much film on himself as he does on others.” And so Mahomes went home and entered a YouTube wormhole searching “Pat Mahomes clips.” Mahomes says his new habit helped him cut interceptions down from 15 in 2015 to 10 last season (despite a slight uptick in pass attempts). Perhaps next year he’ll even begin TiVo-ing his games, he says. NFL teams hope Mahomes continues on that curve." http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2017/03/01/nfl-draft-patrick-mahomes-ii-texas-tech-quarterback-first-round-prospect
  7. The guy you are describing is Tyrod.
  8. I also want to say I am in the "blow it up" camp but that doesn't mean it will take long. We keep our best players in Sammy and Marcel. This team has so many holes and we need to find a long term answer at QB. Keeping TT delays that process. The Bills are very good at steering themselves into crap situations. Look at last year where they spend 3 picks on an inside linebacker to save Rex's defense and one of the picks used would have been Dak Prescott! We need to stop trying to go for it when we are in a natural down year due to schedule and heavy FA loss. Let Tyrod go, clear cap space, acquire draft picks. With a great draft this year and next we will have a solid foundation AND we will have our QB for the future.
  9. Yes, it seems scouting community is split on Davis vs Williams. I favor Mike but won't cry if the Bills get Davis.
  10. The Kirby gameplan is one of the best I have seen from the "let's go for a championship" crowd. My issue is that I see the best result for a team built like that is to compete like the Dolphins did last year. If everything falls into place and everyone is healthy and...etc This is Buffalo. Do we ever expect everything to go our way?! I would rather retool this and pay a QB only if he is top 10 at his position so that we can do more than squeak into the playoffs if everyone drops the ball. I want to build a video game offense that just crushes people. Tyrod will never lead that.
  11. In the NFL very few NFL receivers get much separation. It's usually a step or so. We have been spoiled because Sammy is a freak. I see Williams doing Brandon Marshall type things where you have a guy on him but it doesn't matter.
  12. Yes, Mark is must read stuff.
  13. Clemson's Mike Williams, a top WR prospect who intends to enter the 2017 NFL Draft. His coach, Dabo Swinney, says he's a more complete prospect than ex-CU WRs DeAndre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000748406/article/dare-to-compare-nfl-comp-for-clemson-wr-mike-williams If the Bills got Williams he would become the prototype #1 WCO WR while Sammy would be moved around more and used to create mismatches.
  14. Mike Glennon plus Jordan Mills at RT equal's SUPERTANK!!! Unstoppable, we get the top pick in 2018.
  15. If all the draft picks work out that could work. And thanks for that, most of the TT people have no conception of a team that could actually win. I do think Aaron is done which sucks because he would be great in this defense. Aaron Williams is a huge reason why we couldn't stop people these last 2 years.
  16. Yes. He will be amazing. If Jamal Adams is off the board he is the non-QB I would want at 10.
  17. Hey, there are other guys smarter than me that like Kizer the best. Inside the Pylon likes Kizer. Was just trying to get a dig in on Whaley's QB "scouting" preferences.
  18. Good, someone please take him so Whaley can't.
  19. I have not argued that TT's contract was "unfair". The issue with picking up TT's contract is that the Bills will be paying TT more than they were 2 years ago. That huge pay increase from 2015 to next year if they pick up the option means far less money for WR's, Safeties, Corners, etc. Those advocating keeping TT are acting as if we are a playoff team but cannot demonstrate how this team will compete next year after picking up the option or what the long term strategy is. He's the best we have for now is not a coherent team building reason to pay him.
  20. My scouting friend that was high on Dak last year is all about Mahomes. I asked him for an NFL comparable. He said the high end? Drew Brees.
  21. The good news is that this is a loaded draft, much better than last year. The bad news is that Doug Whaley is making the picks. Hopefully he doesn't trade up and instead trades back. This is a draft you want all the picks you can.
  22. It's not that zone coverage means you don't need good corners. It's just easier to protect them than man. I would keep Gilmore if we were a playoff team.
  23. I would love it. We actually might get real torches and pitchforks show up at 1 bills drive.
  24. Give me Cardale, Mahomes, and a top 5 QB in 2018 and I will bet that one will be better than Tyrod. You are in the minority. Even most Tyrod fans think he is what he is.
