  1. I don't get people saying Stafford is a better option than Taylor. Look, Tyrod hasn't played much and his sample size is smaller. But, in this business you don't always get to make decisions based on a perfect sample size. With that contract, the way he has performed, and the fact he hasn't separated himself as a big time franchise QB-no thanks Stafford. IMO people get too hung up on where a guy was drafted. MS being the number one pick, just means scouts thought he had the most potential in the draft. As time goes on that becomes less and less of a decision making point. And, now he has the huge contract. I repeat-NO THANKS! Lets see if TT can continue to shine and improve.
  2. IMO it is a mistake. I thought Kujo was getting better each week, and seeing the way Henderson has played, i would have stuck with Cyrus. The line provided really good protection last game. JMO
  3. I'd like to see a rule in place that you need to have a winning record to make the playoffs, even if you win the division. Just add a third WC if a team goes 8-8 or worse and wins the division.
  4. There have been alot of successful NFL players, including Jim Kelly and Dan Marino, who scored no better than that. The only thing stupid should be used to describe, is the Wonderlic itself.
  5. I admire JT for his commitment and comments. I also admired Matt Harvey wanted to go out there for the ninth last night. That is why the players are not making these decisions for the organization. It may be the right thing to move JY for a hall.
  6. Everything is results at some point. I'm assuming most people mean the old Bill Parcells...."you are what your record says you are!" However, not examining how the results were achieved leads to poor decision making. Among the questions that needs to be answered is 7 games a big enough sample size? As Hondo said above, people on this board don't have the information to answer the other questions. I would caution against falling back on the old media nonsense about it being 100% results oriented.
  7. Exactly, Bradham seems ineffective in Rex's defense. Glenn is adequate, but in this modern free agency era, not worth big money.
  8. Wow I've heard of glass half empty, but you've emptied the bottle. Perhaps literally. Hope you can get up tomorrow morning.
  9. Good idea! Perhaps Detroit would give us Megatron as well.
  10. Depends on the price as always. As a Bills fan, either one of these guys would help us! It has been remarkably quiet at 1BD lately, No? I'm wondering if they are working on anything!
  11. I'm a fan of that look. Bring it on this week! We need a change.
  12. WTH. Why do posts get deleted when you are having a debate and expressing your opinions?
  13. Ah I see. Pretty Alex Smith-like. He is the same class.
  14. I'm assuming you mean 14.8 on Sunday. But no, because his adjusted yards per attempt(incl. INTS) is 5.44 ranking 30th in the NFL since he entered the league. BTW, he ranks between Alex Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick- not Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady!
  15. I agree. Its almost like a college town like Tuscaloosa or Gainesville where its the only game in town. The Bills are pretty much the only game in town for most people.
  16. The NFL has a quality problem and it needs fixing. Its not just about the Bills games. Without stating a litany of different blown calls, almost all the games I watch are dramatically impacted. If you are happy with the NFL, its rules and the officials then god bless you! I expect more as a paying customer from a quality standpoint.
  17. I'm 52 and people think people that age should be old school. My take is Marrone is another old school coach trying to coach like it's the old days. Guys like him are no fun to play for unless you are winning championships. Problem is those kinds of guys are finding it harder and harder to be succesful in this new era. The best coaches are the ones who adapt to the changing times. Bottom line is the players can't be dictated to the way they could at one time.
  18. Apologizing for the NFL officials again. If you can honestly say the NFL doesn't have a quality problem you're in denial.
  19. WARNING: another refs apologist For chrissake we get it that the EJ committed turnovers and the Bills were down 27-3. We get it that it would be nice if that hadn't happened. That doesn't excuse poor officiating. EVERY damn game in this league has blown calls that shouldn't happen. THE NFL has a QUALITY problem, and it needs to be fixed.
