  1. You do realize that it is pretty much the same for every team in the league, right? There are not many (if any) backups that are going to carry a team to the Super Bowl. If any starter in the league goes down for an extended period of time, I can ALMOST guarantee they will not win the Super Bowl. Does it happen? Sure.......once in a blue moon. But let's face it, if you starting QB goes down, the chances of winning are not good. And that is just not for the Bills.....it goes for every team. The money is just not there to have 2 GREAT QBs on any team unless it happens by accident.
  2. I'll take Chicago if you need a new owner!!! EDIT..... Wait a minute......will there be a completely new draft or will I have to use a team already in place? I am hoping that everyone starts from scratch and we can choose our team. If we have to use players already on the team, i will have to get further information.
  3. Pretty good job by T.O.! The popcorn at the end was a great touch!
  4. And the surprise is........ that he is doing Sports?
  5. The TO Show wouldn't be a bad announcement. They did say it will have everyone talking, so I guess we will see. Should know in a couple minutes....
  6. My guess it will have something to do with his reality show..... Just a guess, but I wouldn't bet against it!
  7. Yeah, so I have been watching Channel 7 News since 5:00 and TO is in the News Room. Well, every couple minutes they keep saying that TO is going to have a huge surprise for everyone at 6:00. They won't say what it is, but they are making it into a HUGE deal. Guess we will see!

  9. It is just amazing how good that team was. They made it look so easy. Watching the current team (and really the teams of the last decade) is just so frustrating. That Super Bowl team made everything look so easy and this current team struggles to pick up consecutive 1st Downs on a regular basis. Obviously, that team didn't win the Super Bowl, but nobody will ever convince me that we didn't have the best team in the league that season. The Buffalo Bills were at one time the most fun to watch team on the planet......now we struggle to stay below average. HOWEVER, I have very high hopes for this season. I do think we will have a better team than we did last year. This team will go as far as Trent can take them. If he can step up this year and deliver the ball even close to what Kelly did for us for so many years, we will be fine. If he struggles like he did in the second half of the season last year, nothing will change. The team is better, but it is really all on Trent. I hate to put it all on one guy because football is a team sport, but he has all the weapons anyone could ask for this season. If he can't get it done this season...........well.........
  10. There is NO WAY he ran 4.38. That is what Lee Evans runs....... I'm sorry, Freeny may be fast, but he is not nearly as fast as Evans.
  11. For those that think we got hosed by Dallas, you must be thinking about it wrong. Basically, we wanted to use our 3rd Round Pick in the 2nd Round. All is cost us was a 4th Round Pick! So, basically, we used the 4th Round pick to move from the 3rd Round to the 2nd! Not a bad deal at all!!!!!
  12. Could easily see that....
  13. I like Wood (please refrain from the obvious joke)! There are a lot of great players still on the board. I think we are going to get a GREAT player in the 2nd!
  14. The more I think about it, i really think they may want Maybin to play LB. They could go DE here. We might know a little bit more in a few minutes. They have him listed as a LB on the page! EDIT: WOOD!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I agree! The more I look at it, I think they want him to play LB. I guess we might know more in a few minutes depending on who they take.
  16. Matthews......
  17. Packers trade up.......
  18. MACK! This early? Like him, wanted him....but we can get a better player in the 2nd, maybe.
  19. We are taking Maybin
  20. Crabtree to the 49ers.......
  21. I can't believe the didn't have to give up their 1st next year........ Basically a 2nd and a couple of OK players. If it were that cheap to move up that many spots, I can't believe more teams didn't offer more.
  22. While this list is pretty good, I think you have to have Owens and Evans higher on the list. Here is the way I look at it. If you like Owens AND Evans better than one of the receivers in the pairs above them, then you have to put them as a duo about that pair. For example, I think BOTH Evans and Owens are BETTER that Wes Welker (not to mention I think both are almost as good as Moss). Therefore, they must rank higher as a pair. Also, I would take Evans and Owens over either Ward or Holmes. Therefore, I place them ahead of that group as well. Where I get stuck is Fitz and Boldin. Fitz is the best there is in the entire league. Boldin is definitely at the same level (at least) as Owens and Evans, so they probably have to get the nod for now. If you look at it this way, there is no way Owens and Evans can be any worse than the 2nd best tandem in the league. Now, as another member pointed out, the difference may not come down to the WRs themselves, but rather who is throwing them the ball. I truly believe the talent level of Owens and Evans is at least 2nd in the league, but the QB that is going to be throwing them the ball is barely in the top half of the league. So, the stats may not be there as much as they could be if they had a better QB getting them the ball. But, if you are strictly talking talent, I will take Owens and Evans over Welker, Ward and Holmes. Not by much, but if I was starting a team, (in terms of talent....not counting the baggage attached with any of the players), I would take Owens and Evans over Welker, Ward, and Holmes. So, therefore I have them 2nd at this point.
  23. Like I said in an earlier post..... WHAT IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN? So, it doesn't work.....and what? The Bills miss the playoffs again???!!!!!!!!!! We haven't sniffed the playoffs in a decade!!! There is really no downside here. Making the Playoffs is what matters. You can't win the Super Bowl if you don't get into the tournament. The Bills haven't been in the tournament in what seems like forever. So, what is the worst that can happen? The Bills continue the playoff drought. This makes them a better team in many different ways. I think in the end this can only be looked at as a good move because they were no closer to making the playoffs without him here.
