While he may not have any NFL experience calling plays, he has called plays before in NFL Europe: COACHES BIO: "spent the 2005 NFL Europe season as the Frankfurt Galaxy’s quarterbacks coach where he was responsible for all offensive play-calling." Now, I remember watching several pieces on him when he was doing this and I remember everyone saying that he had a natural gift for getting the team in the right plays. I am not sure it will translate to the NFL, but I am willing to give him a chance. With the amount of points we have scored the past few weeks, it can't get worse. So, he does have some experience......I am willing to give him a chance.

Yeah....There is no way he plays, but I think he could go if it was the regular season. But yeah, I don't think there is a chance he plays tomorrow either.

I agree....I am sure we are not the only team with this happening to, but I just thought it was interesting. Technically, they could put out the full starting offense that will play against the Pats* tomorrow night, but it sounds like they won't. Again, I am not saying that this is good or bad, but I thought it was kind of interesting to think about.

I am not saying anything 1 way or the other, but I find it interesting that our Starting Offense after tomorrow's game may have gone the entire Preseason without playing 1 series together. Sure, most were there in the Hall of Fame Game, but Butler was still missing from the lineup. T.O. hasn't been there every game since and after tomorrow, it looks like the entire offense would not have played 1 series together the entire Preseason. Based on what Jauron has been saying, it looks like many, if not all starters will not be playing much, if at all. It may be nothing in the grand scheme of things, but for this team with all the new parts, especially on offense, not having 1 series together, it is definitely worth noting.

Add McKelvin and Moorman to that list... Then, I think the list is done......

It's funny..... Coming into tonight, I was SURE that Edwards was going to come out throwing it deep down the field. He had been taking heat all week long for checking down every play and not challenging the defense down the field and I was certain he was going to come out and try to prove a point. Well, he proved a point......he is Captain Checkdown and that is just what he is. He is scared to throw the ball down the field and we are going to get run off the field this season. Owens is going to be yelling at him in Week 1 and I have a feeling we will all be yelling along with him.
