  1. The zone running game was Dennison's idea. There were articles written about it when he was hired. He publicly said he was bringing it to Buffalo and it would succeed because the offensive line was good.
  2. If they really wanted to tank by starting Peterman (which is exactly what they would be doing) then they would have done it this year. They would have stuck with him when they first put him in. Only way that dude starts is if he drastically improves in the off season. Possible sure. But, very, very unlikely. Or, if the Bills completely screw the pooch trying to bring in a legitimate starter. (This is more likely, in my opinion, than Peterman improving that much in the next 6 months.)
  3. The only way Peterman starts against the Patriots is if Tyrod was still hurt. Realistically, had Peterman started and played the whole game vs Jacksonville, he honestly may have set a new NFL record for most interceptions ever in playoff history. And people would be picking Jacksonville to run the table and win the Superbowl right now because they would have looked that dominant on defense.
  4. Epic finish. Wish it was the Dawgs though.
  5. Was anyone else freaked out by the huge B word interviewing the Georgia coach at the beginning of halftime? I was like WTF? Dude had to be thinking "man that is one huge B word"
  6. Peterman misunderstood him when Dennison called in for a pick play on offense.
  7. I blame Dennison for calling an outside zone run in the Bills playoff game that resulted in a loss of 3 yards by Shady. Just because Tyrod sucked, doesn't mean Dennison didn't suck. Dennison sucks. Time to move on.
  8. Yes he missed every one in the playoff game. Horrible game. If he connects on one, it could have turned the game.
  9. Sammy Watkins had the talent required to adjust to and go get a ball. Nobody currently on the Bills' roster has that level of ball tracking ability. Oh, that and Dennison also has a history of not calling the deep ball plays very often in games.
  10. This has the makings of a very high quality thread. If cornhole says it - take it to the bank. You guys know what the other name for cornhole is right?
  11. So, you're saying that Tyrod is likely to regress next year without Dennison being his OC?
  12. Why is everything you post on here like we are in the fuggin apocalypse? I'm concerned.
  13. He is slightly inferior to Incognito though in my opinion. If he signs for a lot more than that, then yeah, let him go elsewhere.
  14. Even if Dennison is still here next year, what are the odds they keep running his outside zone scheme a high percentage of the time? I would think they would run it very, very sparingly. Unless they have high turnover on the offensive line. Because this offensive line has proven again and again, they cannot execute it well. It is more likely to result in a tackle for a loss in the backfield as has happened numerous times this season when they ran it. They would be insane to go back to it again after this year. Just insane.
  15. Bills had number one rushing attack last two years. averaging 5.3 yards per carry last year. This year - 4.1 yards per carry which places them #14. That sir, is a major drop off. And that is only after it improved substantially part way through the season once they started abandoning Dennison's stretch zone running and going back to inside and power running. Dude sucks. Roman and Lynn were both better. Time for upgrade. If Roman and Lynn weren't good enough for Buffalo, how in the hell can Dennison be?
  16. Let's see where he ends up. I don't know if he is top ten good, but he is good. If Bills can get him for Incognito money, I say do it.
  17. Took him all friggin year to do it when it was obvious by game 2 his running schemes sucked. And yet even as recent as yesterday in the Bills final game of the year, he was still calling his friggin stretch zone runs that resulted in Shady getting tackled for a loss in the backfield like it did so often the rest of the year. Dude sucks. He saw what Tyrod looked like as a pocket passer in the one preseason game that was a complete dumpster fire on offense. It was an utter disaster. So why would he keep trying to do it in subsequent games? In preseason they explained it as they were trying to make Tyrod do things he was uncomfortable with. But then he did it to him in regular season games too. Insanity. Do we need a better QB? Yes. Do we need a better offensive coordinator? Yes. Fast forward a year from now and imagine what it is going to be like if the offense still sucks. McDermott will then be on a very hot seat for keeping Dennison. Probably better to upgrade that position right now if you can - especially if you intend to bring in a new QB. Unless of course you are going to bring in a vet as your new starter and that vet is already comfortable and proven to execute Dennison's passing game effectively. But last I checked, Peyton Manning is doing commercials for Nationwide Insurance.
  18. Here is a Carolina guy I think the Bills should be pursuing. Protection for whoever the starting QB is. Thoughts?
  19. There is nothing urgent about urgent care in WNY.
  20. I will be in prove it mode. I have no doubt that Dennison's passing offense would look better with a better quarterback . I have doubts that he is capable of improving the running game at all. And I don't think the improvements that may come in the passing game will be enough for the Bills offense to become dominant. And dominance is the goal in my mind. I say set the bar higher and go get a someone with some newer, fresher ideas on how to run an offense.
