It really is you! I think Trubisky is actually going to turn out good. Another couple - two or tree (Polish for 3) years.

Yes. Even the government employs the same technique through income taxes. If people didn't have the 7.5% of their pay taken for Social Security or the regular income tax withheld from every paycheck - there is absolutely no way in hell most people would pay their income taxes. The government would not be able to collect a five figure check from 75% of taxpayers on April 15th because a very high percentage of the population would default. Instead they collect a percentage each week - and the vast majority of people have come to accept it even though they are somewhat silently getting fiscally raped.

This franchise has no ambition to win if they keep Dennison

I think 100% for sure. If he really wants to move on that is. -
Yeah. It is entirely possible that running a spread offense as your base offense would have allowed Tyrod to produce much better. It would have been a lot, lot more exciting. That's for sure. The guy doesn't throw many picks. In the past couple of years prior to this one I noticed that most of his big passing plays came out of shotgun or on roll outs where he was either flushed out of the pocket or on designed roll outs. I think the guy is one of the best improvisers in the NFL (I know people will disagree with that.) I don't think it is highly disputable. His athleticism is off the charts. Needed to exploit that by letting him extend pass plays way longer than a normal QB could and by having receivers run separating routes instead of bunching routes. That creates more openness as time ticks on. In those situations Tyrod made plays that would destroy defenses. And I think he could have done that to a lot of teams on 1/2 of their possessions if there was enough emphasis on it. Oh well. Onward and upward.

Gotcha. Can't believe the NFL isn't doing this league wide already. Seems like a no brainer. They are very used-car-salesmen-ish
-
Did you guys crank up prices once you went monthly?
-
That is an awesome idea. Don't know why they don't do it. It makes way more sense. And they would probably make a lot more money because they could raise prices and amortize the payments. Just like how car dealers tell you it's going to cost $299 per month rather than $38,000.

He is the current QB coach though eh? Not really a position of improvement this year for the team.

Let's not divert this topic over to Dunkirk Don's porno collection. Try to focus. -

Some probably should be fired. It matters where you started from though and which direction your arrow is pointing. The Bills offense was much better before Dennison took over control of it. -
This is why simplifying things can work well - as in the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos offenses in the 90's and the modern day Patriots offense. Let's consider the 90's Bills as an example. Kelly and the receivers always knew who was going to be where. That happened because the offense was limited. They ran the same plays again and again and again and executed most of them well. And by doing that so often, it allowed them to master (or at least get really, really good at) a limited number of plays they could execute. Just like the Patriots do today. And with Kelly calling the play at he line, there is no doubt that Kelly (as soon as he chose the play) pretty much knew where he was likely going with the football even before the ball was snapped. And again, he got better and better at doing it because they kept running the same limited number of plays. That system, in some ways, made it mentally easier on Kelly and the receivers. Kelly had the extra challenge of deciding which play would be best, but that decision would be made pre-snap when there was time. Then after that he could simply react instinctively rather than think and analyze anything. I am willing to bet that is a large part of the reason that Bill Parcels told Anthony Lynn to throw out half the playbook as advice to him when he got promoted into the offensive coordinator position. It makes sense. Choose a limited number of plays you can execute well and master them. Don't over-complicate it or you will get mistakes.

What are you talking about dude? His job is to run a highly productive offense that scores points and moves the chains. His finished product sucked. Like super sucked. It was absolutely abysmal. Coming into the season the Bills had one of the most dominant running games in NFL history. It's not in the same ballpark anymore. Coming into the season we expected there was nothing but upside for the passing game because it was so lackluster last year. And it got even worse. The guy failed at his primary job responsibility. Flat out failed. -
Which decision? The swearing, whipping the bird or kicking the neighbors dog?
-
I agree. But McDermott must really like Castillo. At least it appears he did coming into the season. Hired him before OC.
-
How would you react if McDermot fired Dennison and promoted Juan Castillo to OC as his replacement? First I would let out an F bomb - quite loudly. Then I would whip the bird with both hands in random directions while cursing out McDermott. Then I would go next door and kick the neighbor's dog. How would you react?
