  1. Hey Donnie, (imagine me saying this like I am singing a nursery rhyme) I know something you don't know and I am not telling. Nah nah nah nah nah
  2. Even if Dorsey is good, I am just damn sick of getting more people from Carolina - a team I have next to zero respect for. Boo.
  3. He guarantees that Webb is going to score this Sunday in either a run play or trick play. lol. Way to narrow it down dude. By nature any play Webb runs is a trick play because, other than injury, that is the only time Webb plays QB - if they are trying to confuse (a.k.a. trick) the opponent. That isn't insider knowledge. That is a friggen guess. Dude is a fake. Absolutely nothing insider about that, because even McDermott himself can't tell you if Webb is going to score Sunday. And he is hanging his hat on it as if Webb scores it proves him right about everything he has been saying so far. My guess is that it is the exact same guy who comes on here and does the Jimmy Spags routine.
  4. No. And they're not going to. It is all a hoax.
  5. There will likely be major infrastructure changes regardless of where a new stadium gets built. - Unless it is built on the same property already in OP.
  6. I hope some stories come out involving hookers and cocaine.
  7. That is the fear that I have. I don't think he knows how low his odds were in that situation. And I have a suspicion he would make the exact same decision even playing against a team like the Patriots. That really bothers me about him. He wants to beat the best teams in the NFL by kicking field goals and punting. Kind of funny when you think about it that way.
  8. See, the thing is, McDermott is a large part of the reason for the decisions about which players have been gutted and brought in to replace those who have gone. So you can't use the gutting as an excuse for him. That is my only beef with your logic. Suppose for a minute that no coaching/GM changes had been made - No McDermott - No Beane. It would then be reasonable to assume the offensive production would be somewhere in the same ballpark as it was last year. Maybe not as good, but close perhaps. Or maybe better. We don't know. All we know is that (with the changes made on offense - largely decisions made by McDermott) this offense now completely sucks donkey balls. Yes the defense is considerably better. He gets credit for that. And the offense is way, worse. He gets credit for that too. Seems like he is pretty good at defensive decisions so far and pretty bad at offensive ones so far. He gets no pass from me for this piece of crap offense. If you guys want to pretend that he had zero to do with this piece of smoking dung offense, so be it. I say he is as much to blame for that as he is to get credit for the improved defense. So far, average coach at best. What is average in school these days - a C+ or a B- perhaps. I give him that. I am somewhat optimistic about his future as a coach. I think it will take him years to get there though. I think he lacks the burning desire to score points at any and every chance in a game. Don't know if he will ever develop that burning desire either. I doubt it. If he had it, he could become great perhaps.
  9. Welcome to the suckers club. We are taking new members and expect membership to grow rapidly in the near future.
  10. I think he would do well with Peterman considering Peterman is a reasonable facsimile of good ole Fitzy! Just needs the beard.
  11. You've been suckered. Gotcha!
  12. Chan Gailey = Superbowl! Superbowl! Superbowl!
  13. Half the guys on the team are guys that he helped pick and/or decided should be on this team and/or decided were good enough.
  14. Chan Gailey
  15. This is where I am at too, for now at least. This offense is inexcusably bad. A competent head coach should be able to get more out of this offense than he has gotten. If he can't, which is what it looks like, well then maybe he won't ever be all that successful in this league. He should be more deeply involved with the offense than he appears to be. And he should have a legit public explanation for why he can't get the production out of these players who produced a lot more last year.
  16. As was already mentioned, stadiums don't take 1,000's of acres city boy. Charlotte takes 33 acres. Dallas' massive site takes 80 acres. Both of those are smaller than a typcial small family dairy farm in western NY. There are literally many hundreds of clear sites that large inside Erie county on the outskirts of suburbs all around WNY including numerous places east of the city of Buffalo. You must not get out of the city much. And what if this area they have in mind is already zoned commercial (like a large chunk of property bordering Walden avenue for miles heading through Cheektowaga, Depew and beyond)? Or maybe its zoned agricultural but borders a commercial zone (like property adjacent to the commercial properties already on Walden)? Spots like that likely won't be as difficult as you think to get rezoned. And I am sure the state is going to have its hand in and use its power in the location process for the stadium. That is a bit different than some random little guy trying to get a piece of land rezoned in front of his local town zoning board.
  17. Plus the city is mostly a craphole ghetto with people who don't care about their own neighborhoods at all. Obviously some exceptions. The city sucks and the people who run it suck. Lots of land available in Lancaster/Alden area also. Did the county repurpose the Erie County Home on Walden yet? That is a big space with lots of room. Right across from Erire County correctional facility. Plus then they could take the inmates (a.k.a. players) from the game right back into their cells.
  18. Might be a real possibility. Location is great and ripe for development.
  19. I don't expect him to play much at all. Maybe first couple games unless he is playing better than expected. He played okay for the Jets this year. And he is cheap. Entirely possible he won't be available. Just speculating.
  20. Charlotte NC complex is on 33 acres. To put it in perspective, a typical small family dairy farm in WNY would have somewhere around 100 acres give or take. Some much bigger. Some a little smaller.
  21. Genesee County (Batavia) makes all the sense in the world for the main reason that you can sell corporate boxes to both Buffalo and Rochester businesses. The major deterrent to Batavia and Genesee county is they simply do not have the population and resources to support a stadium. Nowhere near enough law enforcement. Nowhere near enough tax base to fund construction of infrastructure necessary for stadium traffic. But drawing 65% of your fans from west and 35% from east makes a ton of sense and great traffic flow for I90 Thruway. Would they build in an already congested area? Yes. That is what happens in normal cities that are already congested. They find a place that has almost enough room - then they make more room around it by buying up the surrounding property. Is that practical for the Thruway mall area? I don't know for sure. Just speculating because it used to be a great location that is ripe for redevelopment on the same scale as the Galleria mall. Can't see where else makes sense other than East Side of Buffalo where ghetto homes can be purchased for $5,000 and razed for another $10,000. They could make plenty of room doing that. And it would be central to greater Buffalo area with access from all directions - even within eyeshot of the old Rock Pile. And both those locations are East of Buffalo as Donnie Brasco mentioned.
  22. Why would you need 1,000's of undeveloped acres? Stadiums don't take many acres at all. Do you know how large an acre is? The massive Dallas stadium is on 80 acres. Thruway mall site is big enough for stadium itself I believe.
  23. Isn't Columbus also a massive city compared to Buffalo? I think so.
  24. Cheektowaga area or borderline Cheektowaga/city line makes a lot of sense. Most populous and most central suburb. Galleria mall is already the most successful commerce magnet in WNY. And its for a reason - mostly location. If I was a commercial real estate developer, I would think that area holds the highest likelihood of success for this type of project. And it is close enough to the city/downtown for entire area to benefit.
  25. They could purchase most of the East side for next to nothing. Perhaps they already have. Then level it - Heck a lot of it already has been razed. Entrances off both the 190 and 33. Would make sense.
