  1. Blame it on the backs if you want to. I think the loses have more to do with poor play calling, red zone suckage and not taking advantage of the opportunities the other teams give you.
  2. At least when NDBUFFCUSEFAN melted down....he was kind enough to say....Peace out......that makes him pretty cool....
  3. That's it....I'm moving to freaking Florida.....
  4. Yep....That is what I see happening too. You would basically get a 5 yard penalty and the clock would stop giving the other team a chance to get back on the field. And if they weren't ready, they could just false start again and give you another 5 yard penalty. Big whip..... Even if the play is legal, it feels like cheating to me. And I don't want my team to cheat to win. I want them to outplay the opponent. Fake punts and fake field goals and onside kicks are a normal part of the game so I am okay with them. But, I don't care for fake spikes or fake kneel downs or anything similar to the play the original poster described.
  5. As fans its kind of funny that we pick and choose who we want to see at each coaching position. But that isn't how it works anyway. If Marrone is still head coach next year, he is the one who will decide who is offensive coordinator is. If he has somebody other than Hackett (which I doubt he would be willing to do) then it would still be up to Marrone to pick who that person would be. And if Marrone ends up being fired, then whomever is hired to replace him will decide who his offensive and defensive coordinators are going to be. That means, if Marrone is gone as many here are predicting, the next Bills head coach will be someone we aren't predicting. And the next offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator will also be people we are not predicting or even thinking about.
  6. I disagree that Orton's last two games were as bad as EJ's last 2. Ej seemed to overlook open receivers repeatedly. That led him to make bad decisions with the football and the team sucked as a result. Orton isn't doing that. I don't think Orton is anything great, but in my opinion, he gives you a much better chance to win and much more confidence going into a game.
  7. They found that out in the first few games this season. They decided "NO" when he played that pathetic game in Houston.
  8. What makes you think Schwartz would be a good head coach? He wasn't good at it the last time? What makes you think Pepper Johnson would make a good defensive coordinator? Does he even want that type of job? Has he ever done that job? What makes you think either one of them would be good at those positions?
  9. In my opinion, the most important part of the job in being a general manager for an NFL team is being able to identify the best talent. I think Whaley is exceptionally good at that. He is very, very good at finding and bringing in good free agents and his draft choices have been the best the Bills have seen since John Butler. Firing him would be a colossal mistake. Pegula will have a very hard time finding someone better at their job than Whaley. The one thing I am most confident in with the entire Bills organization, is that if Whaley remains in his position for the next few years, I truly believe Whaley will build the best football team Buffalo has seen since the early 1990's. I believe he is that good. No GM is going to get every player move perfect. And this GM is getting most of his moves right. Some moves have been spectacular. This team will be a playoff contender with a better offensive coach and possibly a new head coach. What are you talking about? What direction? What direction is a GM supposed to go in? He has found talent. That is his primary job.
  10. I was furious about that too. He could have easily got the first down. On the next play I believe our running back got tackled for a loss and we punted. Woods can accept the blame for that drive ending in a punt in my opinion. When the other team gives you an easy chance to make a play, you have got to make it. Dude has seriously regressed and has bad chemistry with Orton.
  11. Orton hurt his toe when he tried to shove his foot up Hackett's ass.......
  12. I am sick of that mentality to be honest. I just think it is incredibly stupid to keep burning things to the ground. How well has that been working for this organization over the years? It is stupid. You replace what needs to be replaced and you fix what needs to be fixed. And you move forward trying to keep the good things that are already in place. Right now two good things I believe are in place are the GM and the defensive staff. Why throw them out? The offensive staff is what needs to be fixed the most. So tell Marrone he is bringing in a new offensive coordinator with plenty of NFL experience. If he refuses, then fire him too and bring in a new head coach.
  13. Cool another stealthy fire Hackett....fire Marrone thread.... In..... Fire em...
  14. That seems to be a common thread among various bills receivers....Orton seems to not be on the same page with many of them on "hot" reads...
  15. Sounds like you have got all the Bills problems solved in one draft......good job..
  16. I think you are dead wrong.....well...you asked... You can run more effectively out of shotgun when your offensive line sucks....my opinion...
  17. This thought struck me tonight as I continue drowning my misery from this Bill's loss in an excessively large bottle of brandy....
  18. Is it possible that the reason you decided to start following the teachings of the fat man or become a stoic is because of your infatuation with the Bills? Maybe they are your way of dealing with your addiction?
  19. Okay...hang on while I dedicate the next 3 hours of my life and all the bandwidth this site's host gives it to re-friggin-read every post in this thread...
  20. Run the table.....lol......or else call in Red Foreman and let him put his boot up somebody's ass.....
  21. Yup....but really it was a bit later in the third quarter when Miami started bringing pressure effectively......I think the Bills came out in the second half with one of Hackett's infamous run run pass punt series.....could be wrong though...
  22. I think he was thrown to once and he dropped it.....lt was catchable too....bad game....non factor.....
  23. You know.,...when I talk to younger guys...(guys under 40) they think that hiring a young guy is a good idea because they have good ideas and they understand the new trends in the game..... I call B.S. on that...I want a guy with plenty of experience coaching my team on offense defense and the head coach. I want a guy who has eat, drank and crapped football for a few decades.....Give me one of those guys who is a good game preparer and a good game caller....
  24. ORton had all the time in the world to throw early in this game.....That is when you throw the deep ball.....You don't wait till your down by two scores and the defense can tee off on you....The team who goes up first in a game like this is the team who has the big advantage....The coaches should know this unless they are incompetent.
  25. Sorry boss......didn't read the whole thread....peace....
