Democrats trying to steal PA senate seat
Orlando Buffalo replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It is almost like what I have been stating is happening @The Frankish Reich- if we had voter ID requirements this kind of crap would be less likely because the ballots would not exist. -
Conservative idealisms
Orlando Buffalo replied to BringMetheHeadofLeonLett's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
One item that has become the realm of the conservative is the believe that being correct and factual is more important than being nice. The libs at my school have actually argued being kind is more important than being correct, which to me is insane. -
Orlando has been expensive for food since at least 2016 compared to most of country. Our cost shot up from 2020-2022. The cost has not increased nearly as much in two years. In 2022 when we visited New Orleans I realized how expensive Orlando was because their regular grocery store prices were similar to our Aldi's.

Law passed in 2023, we had high inflation in 2022. You need to learn to look at a calendar. Housing has become more readily available, fruit and vegetables have not gotten more expensive since last year, and no longer waits in restaurants. Those are the 3 things they warned about, as for childcare I can't comment because it has been a tight market in our market since 2008 at a minimum.

NFL officiating is broken. How do we fix it?
Orlando Buffalo replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
They still screw up VAR at times but I agree it is better. I am watching the Thursday game and I can't believe that some people here actually argue NFL is better than MLB. I see horrible calls every few games in MLB, I can't remember the last half of football without a ridiculous call. In last 6 minutes of game time there were two horrendous calls. -
This was suppose to be a rebuild year
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
As long as we have Josh and a mediocre team around him we should be in playoff contention. We have a good team and Josh therefore playoffs should be guaranteed -
You link to an article that literally was wrong about everything as far as the impact of the new law last year but I should simply trust the premise? As for why I picked 2012 is I traveled around the country until 2013 and I had enough contact with general managers for Marriott hotels who told me they could not compete on the dirt cheap rates of lesser motels because they could not hire the illegals who work on daily pay. This was a general manager outside Chicago and one outside Atlanta.

60% of hotels in USA are owned by chains, that leaves 40% are not. I did look into some more and apparently the liberal cities do allow the chains to hire illegals without punishment. I was wrong about that, I will state that until 2012 hotels would not hire illegals due to punishment but that has definitely changed.

The fact that you believe every foreign national is illegal is amazing to me. Disney has a ton of foreign nationals working at their hotel and none of them are illegals. For jobs like that there are programs, many of which are poorly run by the fed, but Marriott has a ton of these people also. The illegals are working in jobs that pay cash daily, not large hotels.

Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is part of what I meant, I just care about health and with put division being so bad we should have it wrapped by week 14. -
Week 11 - Chiefs at Bills Game Week Thread
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am less excited for this game than I "should" be because at this point all I care about is the playoffs. I would rather lose today and get the 4 seed and be healthy than win today and go into playoffs injured -
The best argument against voter ID presented so far is that potentially someone whom is too lazy to have an ID will at some point decide right before the election that for some reason they want to vote. This person of course is unemployed, since you an ID to work, does not drive, or go to school, since you need an ID to be in school. It literally is an argument that we should worry about the lowest 1% rather than pass the smallest hurdle to ensure a criminal does not steal an election.
