You are correct, I mentioned the no tax states to insinuate I was referring to state taxes only. If a guy has a 4 year $5 million per year salary, and $4 million was paid in FL vs being paid in NY the player would save $1.2 million in taxes over the course of the contract. 6% is a big difference to me

Look at the way that NHL salaries are paid for the no tax states. All the stars on TB are paid the whole salary except for league minimums in signing bonus that is paid out over time. Basically they are paid the exact same amount of.money but keep much more of it. The Josh Salary alone is $4 million a year to state of NY, they would be pissed to lose it.

What happened to punching bag sucks but I am on the other end of blocked call spectrum. I work summer school this year and school gives me a phone number through a service called Dialpad, so I could be available at home. Apparently because I contacted over 100 kids my first few days I was put on a spam calling list going out. I would try to contact kids and if they had a "spam" filter I did not get through.

The FBI can easily track communications from Discord and video game chats. They can easily track any of the "normal" routes of communication besides content of phone calls. My school had a bomb threat spread through discord and they found that kid within hours and it was his "bogus" account. The fact that Tibs believes this incident is an argument against being armed for self defense is hilarious. The government is often incompetent and in this case it almost cost Trump his life.

A lot of people on here seem to think registering for the "other party" in a closed primary state is a new thing. I first heard about it in 2008 but it likely was going on before that. Whether to screw Trump, or Clinton, or some down ballot person it has been happening broadly for at least 15 years.

OSHA somehow got involved and they removed all the larger ladders and gave us all smaller ladders, with a weight limit of 225. The SS is in charge, blaming local cops is a bad look for the SS. If the SS can show that the locals did not follow specific directions then the cops should be investigated and fired, otherwise the SS is in charge.

I definitely agree that incompetence is possible here but how is it possible that this level of incompetence is happening? The SS truly has one job and to do it that poorly should be the end of many careers

This whole situation is making the SS look like it is run by lazy incompetent dopes. We had three snipers inside one building? We had no one on any of the roofs to the right of Trump? Nothing about this gives me confidence that the SS is up to the task.

This whole situation is defined by either liberals trying to kill Trump or by gross incompetence by people appointed by Biden, either way Biden is the bad guy in a manner that no president has been responsible for since Teddy Roosevelt.

So you in one post are arguing they would eliminate the guy and in another post stating they would wait? Those two thoughts are exclusionary of each other in this case, the shooter was not where SS could make sure he was not a threat without shooting him. They don't discuss exact protocols with most people but step one is protect President then step two eliminate threat, however needed. Trump per protocol should have been removed the moment shooter was seen on roof, and then threat eliminated.

I have learned more about this in past 24 hours than I knew but due to manpower the SS directs local law enforcement on what they need to do for security outside the immediate area. These officers are incompetent and if the latest news is true they are also cowards.
