  1. On the contrary though, you know what they say, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. If they are trying to build a winning culture, wouldn't they be using more positive reinforcements. Teammates speak highly in public about a QB and the fans get into it, in turn feeding the Support to the team. Players believe more in themselves, and therefore play with more confidence.
  2. All you did was point out how many other posters have strayed from the OP's original question, in turn, further proving my point. And you're halfway right, I haven't been posting for very long. But that does not mean that I haven't been reading for quite some time. So to assume that I don't "understand", as you say, is actually a pretty shallow assumption to make. As far as you "still waiting to hear one", again, the OP was asking fellow board members for their knowledge of teammates public support regarding EJ Manuel. Yet you continue to ask him for his teammates public displeasure about EJ Manuel. This is the exact opposite of what the original post was about. To answer the OP's question, I did a quick search and was unable to find any public statements from any of his teammates regarding their support. I am sure if I dug deeper, I would have found something. However, the fact that one would have to dig so deep to find public statements about his teammates support, suggests that they do not have a lot of faith in him. The lack of statements speaks volumes, IMO.
  3. It seems as tho the OP was asking a question and reaching out to fellow TBD'ers for info or quotes from other team members showing their support for the teams chosen QB. The OP didn't ask about which teammates didn't publicly Support EJ, But rather the ones who did. Why try to "call the OP out" about something that he wasn't looking for to begin with?
  4. The proverbial hill that the OC is asking the offense to climb at such a break-neck speed seems to be INsurmountable
  5. Some people do not have the capacity to understand that others are here to talk about sports, or whatever the topic may happen to be. People don't need to be spell checked or trolled by the grammar police. I suppose it was too hard to translate with the all of the improper verbiage tho. some are never happy unless they are pointing out others miscues....
  6. So what you're saying is he might do OK, but maybe not... But regardless of, EJ needs to tell'em to get bent. I'm in.
  7. I guess if this was a let's compare T.J.to Mallet thread, then your attempt to compare the front office dealings of the Bills regarding T.J. would hold some merritt. Seeing as though this is a thread about Mallet and not T.J., and how the Pats* drafted in the 3rd and only got a 7th for him, seems to hold little weight for the argument at hand. But hey, I guess it's harder for some to stay on point about the actual topic. Can't we all just enjoy the collective demise of the Pats* together? Why try and throw our beloved Bills into that mix? It's really hard to enjoy the kool-aid, that is that Pats* failures (what little there is), when your own teams failures are compared. Everyone here knows Where the Bills stand. This is a "Pats* suck cuz they fkd up" thread. So to that, I say, hahaha to the Pats* for being so far "off" on their evaluation of Mallet. It's funny, the glass is either half full or half empty, but it's still the same glass with the same amount at the end of the day. I prefer my glass half full, I still have half a glass left, as opposed to, I only have half a glass left. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you know what they say about opinions.
  8. I check it out during my smoke breaks. Smoking gives me a reason to be on my phone instead of actually working... well not quite that bad. Daily visitor.
  9. This was the message that I got from this thread, but I think it's actually referring to the team Oops! Something went wrong! [#2001] Sorry, the server is too busy to handle your request, please try again in a moment
  10. They're saving it for the regular season, you know, so as not to tip their hat.
  11. Actually it is a lot like politics and religion,at least at the current moment. It will continue to be a pointless argument until EJ answers the question for us, as you say, in 12-24 months.
  12. In retrospect though, since Fred J. wasn't around for the past, he doesn't have the past to compare to today's NFL. therefore as stated before, he is more than likely speaking the general sentiment of the locker room. In turn, setting a good example as a leader.
  13. It seems as though your giving this "credit of penalties" because Denver and Seattle were in the Superbowl, therefore by default they are allotted drive extending penalties. The *Patriots, because of the general displeasure for them. Does one think that the league is really that one dimensional? If that were the case the NFL would run themselves right out of business. It's the suspense and anticipation that keeps fans coming back for more. "Your team" is on the verge of success, and the NFL will make it suspenseful, regardless of who it swings favoritism to. In other words, we all get our breaks with the refs. Well, that's my opinion anyway.
  14. Dinner's on you? Idk... sounds a little unsanitary to me... unless you're some smokin hot chik, there are some things that are off limits... ;-)
  15. Most on this board clamor for EJ to take a chance and throw it down the field and let his receivers make a play. He does it, now everybody chastises him for doing it. Not specifically pointing at your post, just my general opinion of the board.
  16. So what you're saying is if the Bills win, it won't be because they earned it and won it through good play, but rather because the Bears played a bad game and gave us the win? IMO, every victory will be earned. This is a talented group, there's no reason they shouldn't be winning games. I believe this is the year they turn it around. It's about to be the start a long run of greatness.
  17. Not sure about everybody else, but I use my daughters trusty magic 8 ball (no, not that kind of 8 ball) to provide me with all these answers of which I seek.
  18. I think the first offensive play of the game is a deep pass to Watkins. That will set the tone for the players, and the fans. Just curious what everyone thinks...
  19. My sentiment as well. I think this is the year the Bills make the turn. This team is young, talented, and they have confidence. Momentum will grow quickly and so will their skills.
  20. It wasn't just based off of their talent levels. It was also based off of their future worth to the team. That's why Watkins came in at #2 without ever having played a down...
  21. I feel Robey was the better player 1) His play on field was more consistent. 2) His future projected worth is so much more. If he continues with the success, he will develop into a stud slot corner. He has shown this after 1 year, as opposed to McKelvin who took 5 (as stated in others posts above). I am not taking anything away from McKelvin, just feel that performance plus projected worth goes to Robey.
