  1. The road schedule is just brutal. Most games the opponent will have more time to prepare. It's hard seeing the Bills win any of those games, to be honest.
  2. Kolb impresses me with his knowledge when I've listened to him. If he can ever stay healthy, I have some hope he can run a WCO well.
  3. I like how the Bills and Browns obligatory night game was stuck on the opening week of baseball's postseason.
  4. Not at all. WRs only have to know how to create separation and catch the ball. The Wonderlic is a poor test of intelligence, anyway.
  5. Some of the blame has to go to Nix, just for hiring a grossly unqualified candidate like Gailey. The warning signs were there before last season, with whatever the defensive plan was in 2010 which ended up virtually wasting an entire draft, and a HC that admits to not planning the defense. I can't believe NIx still has his job. He's so embarrassing.
  6. It's not so much Britt's value. He's a low cap hit for another year. Despite his troubles, most think that Britt is a great talent. If he breaks out, you can resign him. If he doesn't, whatever. You don't trade away a 1st round pick for a mid-rounder unless you absolutely have to, or a Bills RB.
  7. I'd tolerate Barkley, although that probably puts the Bills in a similar situation as Fitz. If it's Nassib, I'm going with the rest of the country that laughs at this pathetic team. I'd give up.
  8. I'm the same, but the problem is these things are constant with Stevie. The organization has to deal with it, and separate themselves from his nonsense. The players have to deal with questions about him. Stevie's status has to make him a leader on this team, at least among the WR core now... do you really want that? I'm sure at least some players have to resent him by now. At some point, Stevie stops being worth the nuisance. I think that point may have already passed, he's far from an elite WR.
  9. Byrd will always be overrated after his incredibly fortunate rookie season. He's a good ball hawk, and elite at his position, but that has more to do with FS being the least important position in the secondary. He's also absolutely no help in the run game, and I know how PFF grades him. I honestly think the Bills wouldn't miss a beat without him, especially with the mass of CBs they always draft they could stick in his position.
  10. Calling him a scrub is a little harsh, but I really don't see how Nassib is more than a Day 3 pick. There's so many glaring flaws with him. He shies from every hit, he is not going to sit in the pocket and make throws. He has no mobility in the pocket. He does that weird like half-pump before any throw with effort that tips off his passes, and will lead to increased fumble chances. And it's not like he's an extraordinarily strong and accurate passer with time, either. With Nassib and Glennon, I think "experts" are throwing darts at the wall and hoping their correct.
  11. Yes. He's really just a ST guy, though. And the Pats decided to IR him all season for basically no reason.
  12. I'll be stunned if Thigpen is more than 3rd string fodder somewhere else.
  13. I feel for the team that takes Manuel in the 1st round. Especially if it's a bad team that will probably change coaches soon. Manuel is soooo far from being ready for the NFL.
  14. I hope they aren't displeased that he chose to heal during a losing season, but I know how meatheads can be. The carrying the team comment is a little much, but the players know he's great when he's on the field.
  15. It's more of a complaint that the Bills bothered to post this.
  16. I hope Dansby is the plan. They have the money. They made the space by extending Fitz' cap hit into next year.
  17. Yes, because the Sabres had the greatest goalie ever. The most banal talk there is in sports is about hockey captaincy. If a grown adult really cares about wearing a "C" on their shirt like it means anything, go away, good riddance.
  18. Good signing. Branch is a solid run stopper guy, and we desperately needed one of those. Yay. I truly like a move the Bills did.
  19. I'd like to bring in Brandon Lloyd for cheap. He'd fill the speed WR role for the short term. He's a flake like Stevie, they'd probably get along. And I'd like Ramses Barden for the slot, a better version of David Nelson.
  20. Not yet for Spiller, he needs at least a full season of carries to be regarded as that. Mario definitely isn't now, he's probably not even a top 10 pass rusher. Byrd, maybe, but he's a ball hawk safety. Not high value. And who cares about a returner, notice the teams that actually pay top dollar for them... I understand that a lot of you guys are homers. I am also to be a point. But, to be excited about this year is just setting yourself up for disappointment. I could understand it last year, but this year? What is there to be excited about?
