  1. Can't wait to see the guaranteed money here. I assume Kolb will be locked here for 2+ years so we can't draft a QB next year.
  2. Choice is useful in pass blocking and running between the tackles. But, he's not a special teamer like many other 3rd RBs, and I doubt any other teams would have paid beyond the $600k minimum to get him.
  3. Lynch could have been traded long before he was. I think it was reported the Bills had a better offer than the pitiful 4th rounder in the offseason.
  4. Is that based on anything but him being from California.
  5. I'm on the same page as your kid. Although, saying that Nassib's "competitiveness" is what makes him antsy in the pocket is being very kind.
  6. I seriously would be for drafting 2 QBs in the first 2 rounds. Better taking a chance on some kid than wasting money on the Kolb's of the world.
  7. I don't know that Flynn is better than Kolb. All we have is one incredible Week 17 game against a dreadful Lions pass defense, and one season at LSU where he was nothing special. But, I know that you really don't want Kolb as your starting QB.
  8. I'd hate more for Geno or Barkley to show flashes and finish 6-10 again. Lose every game and get Bridgewater.
  9. I'm still ticked that the Bills let Joique Bell go for nothing. Never forget.
  10. There's nothing close to AJ Green in this draft. He makes Dalton look better than he is. The Bengals main reason for their "success" is they built a great defense, and solid OL. I still have hope that the Bills did the majority of that last year, and that the complete ineptitude of Gailey handling defensive matters was the problem.
  11. Not true. He was excellent with the Chiefs, but they committed to Grbac. Kolb was benched for John Skelton, when he was the high-priced player the Cards relied on. Kolb/Jackson at QB. As I've been saying, you'll be missing Fitz.
  12. Yes. But, the teams you're guessing will be worst next year have no desire for the 8th pick. Thus, this is moot.
  13. Unless you enjoy feeling beat down, I wouldn't do so. It will take a miracle, or him playing awful football, to keep Dareus here after 2014. He's a proud Alabama kid, and the Bills have played him out of position and moved him around so much hurting his value.
  14. Mankins is not the same player after tearing his ACL. The only guard I'd say is clearly better than Levitre is Carl Nicks.
  15. Smith in round 2. Nassib in round 4. Manuel requires a stable situation for him to develop, so UDFA. Glennon, UDFA.
  16. There seems to be two extremes on this Stevie topic. Either he's a lazy locker room cancer, or you're exaggerating his comments. I don't care, it's about production and if he's worth being this constant nuisance. Stevie is at best a low-level WR1 in the league. This is with having full reign that I can't recall any other WRs ever having in the NFL. He could basically run his own routes under "Offensive Guru" Chan Gailey. The offense revolved around Stevie. The other receivers on the team during his time as WR1 have been garbage. He had the job by default, and there was no room to question him. I predict that things could go really sour under Marrone and Hackett. I think part of the reason for his comments with Jim Rome is to exhibit that Stevie will still want the power to do things his way. Stevie is going to lose that battle. He's not Terrell Owens or Randy Moss. If he was released by the Bills, he'd be a WR2 possession type on a competent team. Unfortunately, Stevie earned his big contract and we're stuck with him. Ugh.
  17. The Bills had an elite guard in Levitre, arguably the best pass blocking guard in the league with high YPC to the left side, and he wanted to stay in Buffalo. Maybe Ralph dies and Russ Brandon goes away by then, but I'm not betting on it. If they're not paying to keep Levitre, they're not paying for anyone good at the position. There's still value in having Warmack for 4 years at a relatively cheap price tag, assuming that he ends up being a top guard. Big assumption.
  18. Common rules like that are thrown out for this draft. There's no blue chippers.
  19. Me too. Warmack and Nassib would infuriate me the most. Warmack is a very good guard, but he'll be gone in 4 years.
  20. "Blue-collar" in terms of athletes, i.e. white and underpaid, means nothing. Fans who care about that are idiots, and they're the exact types the NFL is running away from.
  21. No. Gaither's a great talent, but he's a lazy fatass. If he didn't want to work for Baltimore and San Diego, he surely won't here.
  22. Yeah, I don't see Nassib doing a thing to sell tickets for meaningless December games in garbage weather like today.
  23. I doubt Seattle will let Flynn go easily. They can afford to keep him. And there's going to be competition. More than a 3rd round pick, and I couldn't do it. Flynn will be 28 at the start of the season.
