Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
Kirby Jackson replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess this is a part of this conversation. The jury is definitely still out. Worthy is definitely a better player at this point. Both of those things are true. Could things change in the future? Sure. Could the gap between the two widen in the future? Sure. -
Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
Kirby Jackson replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is a long way to go. One guy improved as the year went along and is a key piece on a Super Bowl participant. The other was a role player that lost playing time to Mack Hollins down the stretch. He caught 10 of his last 29 targets. That’s unfathomable. The book isn’t written on either guy. I’m not disputing that but if you’re betting on 1, you’re betting on the guy that produced. If you gave 32 teams the choice, at least 31 take Worthy. -
Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy

I sure hope that he improves. He regressed post injury and hope that it was from recovering and not from the tape being out there. My god, he caught 10 of his last 29 targets!! What are we doing here? I get the homerism but this is crazy talk. Spin the stats however you want to feel better. If you’ve watched the last few months and think that Coleman is better, or will be better, I don’t know what to tell you. There isn’t 1 team in the league that would trade Worthy for Coleman. -

Is this seriously a question? Lol, he consistently produced and made plays on a championship level team. He has a skill that he excels in and displayed that skill would consistently translate. Coleman caught 1/2 of his targets. if he can’t figure out how to get open he can never be more than a role player. That’s not an efficient way to win. Worthy’s contributions and importance to KC’s Offense >>>>>>>>>> Coleman’s contributions and importance to the Bills Offense. From the time Coleman came back from injury he caught 10 balls on 29 targets for 161 yards and 1 TD. Over that same stretch (added a game because he sat out Denver to have it the same sample size), Worthy caught 45 ball on 58 targets for 518 and 5 TDs. I can’t fathom how anyone can objectively look at them and think differently. 🤣🤣 -

Some of the mental gymnastics being played here to downplay Worthy and pump up Coleman are hilarious. The Bills made a mistake. Is Worthy going to be great? Who knows. Is Coleman? Who knows. Which one is better now and more likely to succeed? Worthy and that’s not up for debate at this point. Hopefully it is up for debate in the future. -
Anyone on the Bills you think could be traded?
Kirby Jackson replied to KentuckyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rousseau NEEDS to be traded IMO. You can’t pay him $20M a year. He will command near that. He’s a good answer as well. I think that you can give it 1 more year if you choose. -
I think that’s a decent strategy. You can’t win without a QB. That Pitsburgh roster is pretty good but has some holes. If you plugged pretty good QB play in, they are a contender. Rodgers can’t be the long play but he could give you a 2 year window if he plays at the level that he did this year. He isn’t Josh Allen but he isn’t Russell Wilson either.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Kirby Jackson replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Worthy was ALWAYS a better player than Coleman. A lot of people here didn’t want to believe it but that was always the case. It was a mistake at the time and a much bigger mistake now. Let’s hope Coleman develops into a quality player. I don’t see him ever being a difference maker but he could be Gabe Davis. -
I bet the Eagles to the over. I made a bunch of Devonta Smith bets. I won some money tonight. However, I had Devonta Smith, longest TD which paid a bunch. I’m so pissed. Mahomes and Worthy had to stick it to me for no reason. Eff them both

I’m obviously biased but New Orleans is, by 10,000 miles, the best host city. NOLA is better at it than everyone else. If the question is, “where would you most like to go?” other cities are in the mix. If it is, “who does it best and where is the best experience?” it is NOLA in a landslide.

Superbowl Game Thread - Chiefs vs Eagles
Kirby Jackson replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
For sure!! I was so frustrated watching the Bills alter the way that they run the tush push in the AFCCG. It worked all year so let’s change it up. 🤦🏻♂️ -

Should the Bills go all in this off-season?
Kirby Jackson replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean, I don’t think this is up for debate. The Bills should push every chip that they have in. They have a 5-7 year window right now if Josh is healthy. They’re better positioned now to win a Super Bowl than at any time in franchise history sans the early 90’s. What would you be waiting on? 🤣🤣 This IS your window. Do anything and everything to win now. Worry about the cap and the future in the 2030’s. -
To be clear, I’m not saying that he was an all-pro or anything. It was more that he was top 15ish. If he goes to the Steelers, that’s an upgrade.
-
The Steelers are the perfect place for him right? Rodgers was actually pretty good this year. He’s an idiot but Tomlin has been able to check idiots. He could give them a 1-2 year window to compete.

Matthew Smiley out as Special Teams coach
Kirby Jackson replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
He wasn’t good -
I think everything is on the table. What came out of the end of season press conferences is that there isn’t enough talent at the top of the depth chart. I could see them trading for Garrett obviously (or Crosby as Plan B). I could see them taking a swing at a Pro Bowl level player in FA (Charvarious Ward maybe). I could see them going up in the draft if someone at one of those positions starts to slip (Luther Burden or Mike Green for example). They are going to add multiple “elite” level players IMO.

Congrats to Josh. I think that this award mattered a lot more than the MVP does in other sports or years in he NFL. Josh has been one of the most unfairly scrutinized/criticized athletes that’s ever lived. He’s been a dominant player and the main reason that the Bills are perennial contenders. This was validation for the greatest player to ever put on a Bills jersey (with all respect to Bruce).

Polymarket is always right with these things.

Josh is a heavy favorite again depending on the betting sites. I’ve seen -230 & -450.

Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly
Kirby Jackson replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
The weird irony is that relocation was never actually on the table. The terms of the lease had made it basically impossible. The media and fan base had these fears about Bon Jovi or whatever. The reality is that if he purchased the team he was not allowed to move them. There wasn’t an out of the lease like some teams have. That was Ralph’s parting gift that he doesn’t get enough credit for. He and Littman and Brandon had worked to get that done to ensure the Bills wouldn’t/couldn’t leave. I know a little bit about the situation and had put some of it on here at the time. The threat of relocation wasn’t actually real. -

The data doesn’t show any regression. The numbers continue to increase. Why worry about, “yeah but what if it starts to plateau and decline?” It’s actually more likely that, “what if it takes off in those countries and the revenues grow exponentially?” It is a bit of a frustrating conversation for me because it doesn’t make sense. EVERY FOR PROFIT BUSINESS HAS A GOAL OF MAKING AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE. Why some want this business to be different is mind-numbing. If the interest wanes and the money slows, change will happen. Until then, expect continued revenue expansion by going into new markets, new networks, new timeslots, and more games. The DEMAND is there so the NFL owes it to their owners and players to maximize the revenue. -

The NHL does it (Sabres did this year). The NBA does it (Wemby was just in France). MLB does it (last year they played in Seoul, Mexico City and London). They also play games at the Field of Dreams Stadium and at the Little League World Series. It’s 2025. The world has never been smaller. Get used to it… -

Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly

I don’t understand the problem? Doesn’t every business try to make as much money as they can? If there’s a market for it and money to be made, why wouldn’t they try to expand? I work for a large company (10k employees & $3B revenue). We had a call with the CEO yesterday and all it was about was growth. Isn’t that the goal of a business Are we saying that a business should say, “nah I’m good? I don’t want more money.” I just don’t understand the outrage (not just from you). No one has an issue when my company roles out new initiatives designed to drive revenue. I really, really, really struggle with growing the game being a “problem.”
