  1. He shattered every college football record playing, arguably, the toughest schedule a college team has ever played. He wasn’t playing in the MAC. Texas, Florida, Alabama, UGA, Auburn, Oklahoma and Clemson were all ranked in the top 10 when LSU beat them. That’s 7 top 10 wins!! When we question how talent will translate we shouldn’t be questioning a National Champion from the SEC West. They literally ONLY play NFL caliber players. I don’t disagree. If a stable organization had the number 1 pick the Dolphins wouldn’t even call.
  2. By far, the greatest season a college QB has ever had. It wasn’t just a “good” season. I would do the deal if I were Miami. If I’m the Bengals, I decline though. You don’t get a shot at Burrow in most drafts. He has “it.”
  3. I lean towards RB as the pick at 54. If that’s the case I think potentially, all of the RBs are in play. If not I like Akers or Evans.
  4. That’s a nice move for the Jets. He’s a decent player. I would have been all about him as the number 2 CB.
  5. Was on FS1....LA Derby took place less than 2 miles from my house and I had to watch from the couch SMH
  6. So sorry for this!! It’s a terrible, terrible disease. ?????? for you and your family.
  7. I had no intention of opening this thread and then saw “Rachel Bush” *click
  8. That’s Jack Nicklaus’ grandson!!
  9. Please feel free to post it in the Clowney thread!! Please stop starting new threads on topics being discussed!!
  10. Nice move for the Saints. He makes them a lot better
  11. It looks pretty amazing. I’m going to check it out
  12. Ben, to me, looks like he’s at the end. He’s no better than a middle of the road QB that could fall off a cliff at this point. They may have a window for a year or 2 because of that defense but the offensive skill players aren’t good. They look like a 9-7ish team
  13. Meh, who cares? Gordon just isn’t very good at this point IMO. I’d take him at the right number but I would have rather given that 1-year and $5M to Gurley.
  14. I guess that I look at the Bills as better than New England right now. Jameis absolutely has a higher ceiling and lower floor than Dalton. To me the only way that they can pass the Bills is if Jameis hits that ceiling (or Cam for that matter). Dalton as Dalton isn’t good enough. I’d rather the Patriots play it safe and sign a Dalton (or Brissett shakes free). I’d rather that they sign a little safer option than a home run threat.
  15. I’ll take that one. He wanted to be the highest paid DE of all-time. The market hasn’t shaped up that way. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t gotten big offers. It just means he hasn’t gotten the one that he wanted.
  16. Count me in the group that wants neither of these things to happen. I don’t want Clowney with the Jets and don’t want Jameis’ talent in New England. I’d much rather Dalton there. He’s a lot less dangerous with a way lower ceiling. I think that the Bills are better than the Pats now. If New England somehow harnessed Jameis’ talent that could flip. If they signed Dalton they can’t pass the Bills IMO.
  17. If the Bills went Dobbins, Bowden, edge rusher I would be ecstatic
  18. I think that’s one of the reasons that I was against Shenault in the 1st. I didn’t want to the Bills to “need” him. He’s raw and that was risky. With the room as it is now, he’s appealing as a weapon and role player.
  19. They haven’t accounted for Jefferson, Matakevich, or Taiwan Jones yet. They are likely closer to $24Mish I would suspect. If they plan to extend any of their own guys they don’t have a ton of flexibility.
  20. He has too many concerns for me in the 1st but would be a worthwhile gamble in the 2nd. I agree, that he has a lot of those “McKenzie skills” that help complete that WR room. FWIW, I’ve heard that the Bills were a little underwhelmed with the receiving prospects which is how the Diggs trade started (and not just the Higgins workout). Now, I don’t know if that means all of them or just the guys that they thought they could draft. They were smart, realizing that they needed a number 1 not another receiver. If they didn’t come away from the combine/workouts thinking that they had a shot at a number 1 this route made sense. They may see value from rounds 2 on.
  21. I read something a couple of months ago that said something to the tune of “the overwhelming majority of teams that I’ve spoken to think Brandon Ayiuk is a better prospect than N’Keal Harry was a year ago.” That’s stuck with me. Now I realize this WR class is MUCH deeper, it feels like Ayiuk may be one of those guys that teams like more than talking heads.
  22. The Bills have limited cap space remaining for 2020. They can sign someone like Gordon but the cap space has dried up for the most part. With Gurley now off the board I would lean towards Hyde. He’s the right combination of cost and effectiveness. He’s coming off a nice year.
