Of course he shouldn’t do anything if he’s really bad off. My guess is that it’s optics primarily as @Lurker pointed out. It’s a bad look to have him, even for a brief time on TV while the whole draft is being conducted from home. It appears insensitive.

Say Thuney has the value of a 2nd and Edelman a 4th. Next year’s first is the equivalent of a 2nd in the draft value chart. They are about a 1st round pick (minimum) short still. Gilmore HAS to be a part of the package or it can’t happen. Now maybe they can get into the teens with package but not to 3. Gilmore, Thuney, 23 and a 2021 2nd probably gets it done.

It’s scary what they can look like at the end of the weekend. I’m on record as saying that they finish 2nd in the AFC East. We will see I guess

Honestly, that’s why I wanted Miami going into this. With so much capital I thought it’d be interesting to see what they COULD do if they were really aggressive. If they came out of this draft like that I would hate it (regardless of the QB that they choose). They would get their QB, LT, RB, #1 WR (depending on how you view Parker), and the best safety in football. They’d still have 2 1sts and a 2nd next year.

My last pick was 14 ???. That’s even more absurd because my team has 14 picks in the draft!!

I wish McShay nothing but the best but I tend to agree. They could probably cut to him once every 5 picks for 2 minutes on his thoughts. They don’t need to abuse him but...

Well, that wraps another year of the best thread on the board. Kudos to @Virgil @whatdrought and @BuffaloHokie13 for making it happen. It’s amazing to see the way that the whole board rises to the occasion. People put time, effort and thought into the teams that they are managing. This one was another home run.

Eh, the Chiefs could select me at 32 and be one of the best couple of teams in the NFL. I doubt Gibson is the pick but wanted to go bold.

I think that the NFC East is like -500 to be the division with the 1st team hacked. Washington is in that conversation too.

I think that all of that is fair except Tua was a 5 star and the #1 dual threat QB in the country prior to getting to Alabama. He has always been an elite talent. It also works both ways in that he has elevated the OL and receivers with his pinpoint accuracy and quick reads. It’s the same argument that people are making for Joe Burrow but the only difference is Tua has ALWAYS been considered an elite talent. Burrow is based on this year.

There are some answers that I like (Hurts, CEH, Greenard). I will get wild though and say Antonio Gibson at 32 to KC. They can afford the luxury of an explosive playmaker and will know exactly what to do with him.

Here is what I bet: - Over 3.5 Big 12 players in rd 1 (even) - KC 1st pick will be offense (+145) - Mims won't go in round 1 (-105) - CJ Henderson over 16.5 (+310) - Edwards-Helaire 1st RB (+300) - Andrew Thomas 1st OL (+700) - Tristan Wirfs 1st OL (+110) - Jeff Okudah goes 3 (+140)

This guys aren’t nearly enough. We’d be looking at Gilmore, Thuney, 23 and a 2nd or something like that to start. Miami’s package has so much more value otherwise.

New England doesn’t have the firepower get to 3. Miami is the team likely to go to 3. I could see the Chargers doing it too.
