  1. He's not gonna be "buried" behind Wright. That is pretty much what I'm getting at. I think Chandler will see the field plenty, especially considering how fragile Gronkowski is.
  2. EJM starts, is injured sometime early in the season. Tyrod finishes the game with a nice comeback, and everyone wants him to start. So Tyrod starts for 2 games, craps the bed, and then Cassel finishes the season. The Bills go 11-5, get a Wildcard spot, beat up on a crappy WC team that snuck in from a crap division. Then the Bills play a regular (non-wildcard) playoff game, and lose because of a crap offense.
  3. No, I'm not comparing them athletically. I'm saying every receiver puts up pedestrian numbers in Buffalo. Belichick and Brady will get the most out of Chandler. And Chandler doesn't suck.
  4. We shall see. I wonder how successful Gronkowski (I hate calling him "Gronk") would have been with the Bills? Probably would have put up pedestrian numbers. Basically, any receiver puts up pedestrian numbers here.
  5. Will will find out just how good he is. We will also get some idea just how much the QB situation here has held back the receivers here in Buffalo. Chandler is gonna have a good year.
  6. "I told Percy I would do this..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_R29lMb1sY
  7. Another receiver to feed, and still no one to serve the ball. And a guy that likes to whine...bad idea. The fact that Ryan likes him actually turns me off Harvin even more. Another trashy player.
  8. Yeah, I'm hoping Incognito isn't even a starter.
  9. There were plenty of selections they could have made, that would have been better than Spiller OR Bulaga, if you want to use hindsight....
  10. "A Hard Days Night" is flawless. And it is just the guys playing rock, in a room with basic rock instrumentation, and I don't think there are any studio musicians involved ( maybe some keys from George Martin). Best song? "She Loves You". It has that Beatles feeling of pure euphoria. No one had ever felt that rush before. Creamed panties and raised fists with one song!
  11. Why make a statement like this when you don't really know what you are talking about? MIck plays LOTS of harmonica, piano, and guitar. He has written the riffs to MANY of the Stones songs, particularly by the late 70's.
  12. The Beatles were more innovative, wrote a wider variety of songs, were superior vocalists.... But the Stones take me to a place that I really want to hang out. Stonesville is a cooler state of mind, a more interesting, sexual, gritty place. A better soundtrack for my life. I love both bands, but find myself listening to the 1963-1969 Rolling Stones more often.
  13. Just give him his props....Have you ever admitted you were wrong in your life?
  14. I already didn't like Rex Ryan because I think he is trashy, but this trade pisses me off. Kiko is one of my favorite Bills, and I looked forward to watching him play in a Bills uniform. This team has sucked for so long, that the only gratification has come from seeing players I like, playing the game. If Ryan is a FAIL, this will really stand out as a bad move.
  15. I think he would be happier if there were some exceptional O-linemen being signed.
  16. I'm still waiting for some serious improvements to the O-line. Incognito isn't enough.
  17. When you watch games from EJM at FL. State, you can tell he was way more confident. Obviously, success breeds confidence, but I don't believe that EJM has played as well as he is capable of yet as a pro. It's was expected to take some time, anyway. Whenever/whatever rookie they might bring in, is going to take a couple years, too.
  18. We will all find out soon enough if EJM has made the changes necessary, and has taken his game up a few notches. I expect him to be the starter, and to do a good job. Very few rookies can just come in and command respect, especially when there was no established veteran there to prove himself against, or show him the ropes (whether through mentoring, or competing). Regardless of how you feel about his talent, no one could say these were good circumstances to develop a rookie QB. Even Jim Kelly was fortunate to have spent some time in the USFL to bridge his career to the NFL. He wasn't a "rookie" when he came to the Bills. For all we know, he might have ended up like JP Losman (they had a similar arrogance) without his USFL experience.
  19. I don't want the Bills to be that Jets team. I know they had some success, but I don't think it will work well, and it's the wrong direction. I am becoming more and more wary of Rex Ryan. I think he is a great DC, but not a good head coach.
