Vegas Odds on Bills landing Michael Thomas
4merper4mer replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Picking up Michael Thomas would instantly improve Chase Claypool’s status to “second most useless receiver picked up in 2024”. Silver linings. -
Also burn the Ken Caminiti jersey you got in the mail on your birthday. It’s from you know who. It has a tracking device. And no, it didn’t look good on you. It wasn’t your mirror that lied to you, it was your synapse.

Not sure about that. There is a red head in San Diego that still has a contract out on you. DO NOT attend any Padres home games or go to Seaworld. Facial recognition is not your friend……in your case for several reasons.

We don’t have a single left fielder listed. Doomed.

How close is Allen to Mahomes if all things were equal?
4merper4mer replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen can’t do the underhand short flip crazy stuff Mahomes does. Mahomes, although he can be elusive, is not as good at cleverly or physically fighting off defenders and doesn’t throw nearly.as deep while off balance. I prefer Allen’s arsenal but it doesn’t mean Mahomes isn’t unique. On talent, both are in a very high echelon even when considered across generations. The difference lies in the preparedness of Mahomes vs. seat of the pants I’ll figure it out when I get there of Allen and the willingness to accept losing. Both are millennials but Mahomes has a more old school mentality while Allen prefers constant fun and if it brings wins then great. The “nothing is ever Allen’s fault” stuff is bunk. I agree 100000000% that he is the reason we have won as much as we have but that does not mean he has realized his full potential. He hasn’t. -
Name one player you hope you are wrong about...
4merper4mer replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m hope I’m half wrong half right. Right about Allen’s talent level, effort while he is on the field and ability to improvise. Wrong about his lack of preparedness for periodic games like NYJ1, Jax, NYG, Den, NE1. Wrong about his sensitivity when pushed by type A’s like Diggs and Morse. Wrong about his acceptance of losing. I also hope I’m wrong about Von Miller but that’s unlikely. He’s cruising, burning money and focused on his next career as a GM. -
Picked in round 7 on his 7th birthday.

Sounds like you’re optimistic about the amount of pessimism. Maybe I’ll check it out.

Von Miller ready to prove the critics wrong
4merper4mer replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
What is he going to burn down this time? Maybe the new stadium? -
I thought Skinner was fortunate the one year with Eichel feeding him, actually pretty good all around in 22/23 and pretty bad in all his other years here. He doesn’t play D. To my eye the one year he tried was 22/23 and if he played like that all the time he’d be far more valuable. Funny videos though.

This years STer that has no business playing on O/D
4merper4mer replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Injuries occur after the trade deadline. Available free agents at that point are sparse. And people gripe that “special teasers” are playing in big games late in the season. -
MLB to integrate Negr0 League statistics into official MLB stats
4merper4mer replied to Roundybout's topic in Off the Wall
He hops around and does one or two inning guest stints on teams broadcasts promoting the museum a bit but mostly just telling stories. Having the MLB version of Sunday ticket means hearing him a bunch. Of course he will say the same things sometimes because he wants people in Detroit to hear what people in Seattle hear, but he mixes things up a lot too. The museum seems like a must…despite being in KC. He does a lot of Royals games of course and because they’ve had him so many times he goes into more stories with that broadcast team. He’s great every time. As bad a segregation was in baseball, that’s nothing compared to segregation in society as a whole. We can’t change the past but we can learn from it if we decide to listen. There is no magic wand to change the past or right the wrongs despite well meaning people wishing for it, a small minority of creeps wanting to use it to go back, and charlatans profiting from the desire for it. Yet again, baseball is somehow an incredible forum by which history can be taught. That little speech by James Earl Jones in Field of Dreams is accurate. Knowing the stories is the closest thing we can get to that magic wand. Selfishly, I enjoy hearing all these new baseball stories and knowing they won’t all be lost. Still, there are many stories that are lost, not just from this league but from MLB as well. Maybe knowing that a lot are lost to history makes us appreciate the ones we have. It should. -

Joey Bosa to Bills Trade Proposal (Speculation)
4merper4mer replied to Kincaid Kool-Aid's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills new stadium is under construction and they would have to make expensive architectural changes to be able to fit Joey’s Nosa so this won’t happen. Pegula is cheap. -
My advice: Sell the glove on EBay for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$, buy a new identity………….Fiji.

Great sleuthing. Next up you should figure out the Sean Taylor thing.

Who is on your All-Time Buffalo Bills Mt. SHUSHmore?
4merper4mer replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll only count their career years both in and off the field. Murdering one’s wife after retirement won’t be considered part of a Bills career. If Rae Carrith had been a Bill he’d qualify. Ken Jones - Way too much holding Ronnie Harmon - Catch that for Pete’s sake Perry Tuttle - Yeesh Doug Flutie- An average QB with the rest of that team might have gone places. Instead we got the self promoting locker room dividing little squirt who is still crying today. -
2024 New York Yankees..........on to the World Series for 41st time
4merper4mer replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in Off the Wall
If Bradish is truly down, and it feels that way, they may have to part with a few hitting prospects for Crochet, but they will have competition. Not sure how many starters that move the needle will be out there. -
Well Diggs wanted to be serious about winning so that might have been difficult to achieve.

Lol….and if you’re aunt had balls she’d be your…..well in 2024 she’d be your something.
