Idk with Spector to IR, the addition of Milano would bring them back to 6 LBs on the roster, which is what they started the season with. Plus he’s playing on special teams, and Milano won’t.

F5 Aside from my Bills interest in this game, I also have Purdy in a fantasy league that I desperately need to win this week as half my roster is on the bench next week due to 6 teams having bye weeks. With my backup Tua playing tmrw night, I was hoping for a stronger indication either way. At this point, it’s likely best to roll with Tua.

Good question; As mentioned earlier, there is still one vacant roster spot, so they’ll need to move two players to activate all 3. There is no guarentee they’ll need all three right this moment. It’s possible they allow Grable another week or two to heal up right, avoiding any roster moves and maximizing the 21 day window. I imagine they’ll want Milano and Carter back ASAP. That means one guy on the move, and I would imagine it’s a DT, likely one we can add back to the PS…so maybe Jefferson or Phillips. (edit: thinking more about this, I think it’ll be Phillips that gets cut as Jefferson has been in on some pass rush packages in the Smoot role at DT that I think they’ll like to continue) When Grable returns, I would think they’ll waive Will Clapp, as he was the signing when the injury first occurred with the idea to re-sign him to the PS. Possibly Jalen Virgil back to the PS also

Next weeks game (12/8) will be a full month removed from whatever injury Kincaid sustained on his knee. I’d be very surprised if he wasn’t ready to go for the Rams game.

Missing all the starting talent today vs the Packers really put them behind from the jump, but they really looked like a bad team all around today. Missed tackles, penalties, turnovers, pressures, it just was an overall rough day at the office. If SF gets back Bosa and Purdy, I’d expect them to be stronger but not strong enough. They’d really have to clean up their game flying back east after a tough rough beat down to stand a chance in prime time next weekend

You might be onto something here. He could very well be their best player, but maybe not their most impactful. Bosa is that guy IMO

Cheers @appoo for the detail on this. I am thinking the offseason moves as far as re-signing players would be Groot and Benford. If they were going to try to extend Douglas, I think you would have seen it last off season. Cooper I am really not sure what to make of it. With Shakir, Samuel and Coleman all guaranteed back next year (plus Kincaid and Knox), I don’t see this as something they’re going to over extend themselves on. If my prediction of Benford isn’t right, then its likely going to be a Bernard or Shakir extension. They’ve got a couple young up and comers that need new deals and you can’t wait on all of them. If they want a guy long term, best to do it now. Long story short, they really are in a solid position moving forward. Best QB in the league OL and RB room returning Shakir, Samuel, Coleman, Knox, Kincaid under contract Groot Epinessa Oliver Carter Milano Bernard Williams Benford Rapp Bishop A lot of cap room and still plenty of draft capital. I think CB2, 1T DT, DE and WR are where we can look to improve or will need help.

Steelers always seem to find a way to win close games and they’re just not that talented. The luck with run out.

I think the bigger picture here is that the team is hurting as a whole and is going through a difficult travel combination: guys like Bosa, Williams, Ward are all dinged up and they’re on the road to Green Bay…which should be a tough one. Then they have to reload and fly cross country to Buffalo to play a team coming off of the bye. This is a huge advantage. I have no doubts Purdy Williams and Bosa will play when they come to Orchard Park, but they will likely be feeling the pressure of the injuries and travel piling up
