  1. On one hand, I hate the dolphins and want to see them lose every opportunity…especially guys like Tyrek and Ramsey. On the other hand, if they keep their tiny playoff hopes alive and win a few more along the way, we get to see their dreams crushed later and they’ll have a higher pick. Anyone have a strong feeling one way or the other?
  2. @Your Brown Eye what’s hard now? Interesting they did this the week before the bye. They must feel either very confident he’ll be good to go sooner rather than later
  3. Also their bye week, weird move right now with everyone returning from the week off
  4. It is an option, they just are choosing the conservative route. I don’t think it’s the wrong choice, but it might not be the best choice come January. I was responding to your comment that it was on Beane. He had brought in two other options and the staff hasn’t made it work. That is just as much on McD. The discussion about Bishop being more of a box safety such as Rapp could be true but I don’t see why he couldn’t play the deeper role. He is bigger and more athletic than Hamlin. You can point to the mental side of the game as the cause. I can’t argue that. You can look forward and know that this would be the time to try and overcome some of those lapses. By many accounts he is a smart and capable ball player, and I’d like to see him get a shot. As a fan, I can live with a rookie who has a higher ceiling making an error at 8-2 looking towards a January run. It’s hard to watch Hamlin take awful angles allowing large plays that should have been a 10 yard gain and know that is likely what we are going to get. McDermott has a bigger decision being he has many factors to weigh but from a purely fan perspective, I’m ready to find out what we have in #24
  5. Well with the entire CBS crew coming to buffalo next weekend, and being in the late window, I gotta imagine we’ll get Nantz/Romo next week
  6. I don’t put the safety position on Beane either. He took Cole Bishop at 60, along with Edwards. McD had options, and he’s riding with Hamlin.
  7. A little wing dip. Left over extra chicken from last nights pot pie going to good use on a football Sunday. Doing some soup (wife’s doing) for a chilly fall day. Funny all this pork talk, I just took some loins out of the freezer to marinate for this week, and will be having pulled pork tomorrow at my parents. Trying to limit the booze with the holidays on the horizon, and the belt line in the cross fires, so maybe just some Gatorade for the game to replace the electrolytes from all the sweating.
  8. Under contract next year are the following: Groot Epinessa Solomon Von Expiring contacts for Smoot and Toohill. I would agree Von is likely done. Leaving you with 3 guys locked in. Smoot or Toohill replacement level guys are cheap and they could re-up on one of those guys or something similar. I also imagine at least a day 1 or day 2 pick invested into the edge. I do not foresee a major upgrade in FA or trade coming our way in the foreseeable future.
  9. It’s been a few years since I was a STH, but before the responsibilities of family life allowed me to live it up, we’d always pack an extra meal for the grill. We’d post game tail gate while we listened to GR or had the occasional TV for later games hooked up. I always enjoyed this, especially after a win. SNF is probably not realistic for this but I always much preferred it to sitting in traffic
  10. IIRC, Cooper tried to give it a go pregame last week and wasn’t feeling it….I am thinking it will be the same this weekend and the PS call up’s are a preventative measure so they’re prepared regardless.
  11. You won’t be too far some some of the South Buffalo joints along the wing trail… Blackthorn, Doc’s and 9-11 https://www.visitbuffaloniagara.com/content/uploads/2022/09/Buffalo-Wing-Trail-Brochure-2022.pdf
  12. Not surprising. What was surprising was that Rapp got up after that hit.
  13. This is why it’s a confusing move. ImWith Coleman gone, you’d think they’d be eyeing more of a boundary WR to fill the role. It’s possible they are doubling down or speed and YAC ability thinking they may be needing to take a lot of underneath stuff the next few weeks.
  14. My only disappointment about this is that he and the fans have been robbed of seeing what his entire rookie season would like in comparison to the other rookie WRs. It’s always fun to discuss and compare, plus watching him gets you opportunity to get excited (or not) about his future. The offense will be fine in the meantime, IMO. But it mostly bums me out for that reason.
  15. Bengals still have plenty of clock and. Time out. They shouldn’t be afraid to work the whole field
  16. Awful sequence here. You have 4 downs and plenty of time. 1st and 2nd down should have been easy quick xompletions
  17. End result was good, but left 40 extra seconds and a time out for Bengals. Lot of game left with all four downs the rest of the way.
  18. I can’t believe they thew the ball. Just scramble man!
  19. They still have 1 TO. Its 2nd down. You might run off another 40’sexonds before the FG. Then they have a minute…idk I’d play to win with 6.
  20. Janet Jackson! Nico Collins of Houston, you are right.
