    I'm all for it. Unlike a majority of people I've spoken to, I think you will see more kick returns because of this. Giving the other team the ball at the 25 shouldn't happen. We'll see a lot of directionally short kicks, forcing teams to return the ball.

    As much as it'd be nice to have another play maker at #2, I think woods is suitable for this offense. With so many defensive holes, I couldn't justify, as nice as it sounds, spending a pick to upgrade that position.

    Changed my vote to Non-exclusive. The more I look at it, there really isn't a huge risk.

    Any idea how much less the non-exclusive tag is than the approx. 13.5 for exclusive?

    They need the cap room for for free agency, which is before the draft. Plus, no one wants to absorb that contract. They'll wait till he hits the FA market. Though this would be best case scenario, idt he makes it through February.

Between 2009-2014, 6 of 7 first round picks for the Jets were either a DT or DB ( 3 DTs, 2CBs and a S) It's obvious what Rex values.     Idk that this thread is the place for this arguement but I keep seeing people saying the same thing. "Getting a true 2 gap NT will free up Dareus" I just don't think that is true. He will still, on many occasions, be asked to play with two gap responsibility.
