  1. For argument sake... here are your previous statements, debunked by my own: More destructive nepotism with hiring of the down and out rob Ryan brother. - Bringing in a coach familiar with scheme isn't necessarily a bad thing. He isn't calling plays here. Already over priced running back in legal trouble and continues to "battleinjury" (he's such a warrior). - price and legality have nothing to do with performance. His backup (whos really better anyway) gets suspended due to substance abuse - four games is a quarter of the season. RB is a position of depth. If you're counting on a second string RB as a reason to fail, you need to do a self-evaluation of your football IQ Defense badly needed to replenish via draft ... - we did. draft picks are long term investments. Sometimes injuries happen and there isnt anything you can do about it. You have to see these picks from a GM's perspective, not a single season view 1st round edge rusher discloses he needs major surgery shortly after draft - again, better to have this corrected immediately. besides, he wasn't here last year so how does not having him make us worse? 2nd round MLB may have torn knee ligaments - this undoubtedly blows, but our strength is in our DL. If they can play to their potential, Z. Brown, Spikes, and co. should be able to make plays. Only true weapon on offense Sammy Watkins has foot surgery , doesn't know when he'll return - He has returned. Working on new big contract for unproven QB - Again, how is a contract negotiation in anyway indicative of performance on the field? Geez what a freaking deezaster - Hiroshima was a disaster, this is just football.
  2. Last preseason was rough too. That wasn't really indicative of things to come.
  3. I like our chances here. The match up most intriguing to me is that which we will not see: How does having Ed Reed and Tyrod Taylor, both formerly of the Ravens, impact our game plan? I can't help but to imagine they have tremendous insight on the opposition's scheme. I hope this valuable knowledge won't be taken lightly.
  4. The question mark here is his ability to take on a block, much like you displayed Lawson to do. We figure he is quick enough to cover and definitely has pass rushing ability. I hope Rex throws that position to the wolves and offers little support tonight. Let's see if anyone can seperate themselves from the pack
  5. Excited to see Bryson Albright and Eric Striker to see if there is any potential there
  6. Who do you have as his current replacement? Having not heard anything, I can't help but yo be pessimistic regarding a week one return.
  7. First Offensive snap: 21 personnel, EJ in the gun, flanked by Bush and McCoy, Double Reverse Pass to Tyrod Taylor for the 80 yard touchdown. or inside zone, who knows...
  8. Thanks for posting. To me, this play is less about Manny Lawson and more about Mr. Big Stuff. He eats up both the Center/Guard combination w/o losing much, if any, ground. This allows Preston Brown to flow untouched. Sure, Manny does an excellent job of containing the play and squeezing the gap, but in the end it is really Dareus that makes this play IMO. LMFAO on Gronk/Hughes though
  9. Why would someone of elite caliber (not saying that these guys are) agree to this type of contract? Look at Brock. He banked in on FA. Carr and Bridgewater could turn out to be legitimate options at QB and I'm sure there will be plenty of teams willing to pay a pretty penny for their man. That being said: The deal works for someone like Tyrod because of the uncertainty surrounding his long-term abilities. Teams like Tampa and Tennessee will have had 4 or more years to evaluate their guys who are currently being paid on rookie contracts.
  10. So if Taylor truly bet on himself with 100% certainty, he wouldn't have signed this deal. If he was so confident in himself (overly so) he would have played out the year and forced the Bills hand assuming he preformed above expectations. I think he played it much smarter than that scenario.
  11. How are people insisting KW is cut before he even plays a snap in 2016?
  12. I want to see this guy rack up catches tonight. Not long bombs. Short, quick hitters to see if he can run the full route tree and take the punishment that may come with it
  13. That's a good take on it. However he also locked himself into 9 mil, substantially more money than his previous comtract. I'm sure he wasn't upset about that either.
  14. Pumped to get a look at the 2016 Bills. Hoping to see few, if any, skills starters. Can't wait to watch bubble guys like Striker, Mario Butler or Meeks. WR battle will be great to see but also interested to watch 12 gauge
  15. Cowherd is a Pat fan, not surprising. Still, I lose respect for people when they take shots at the city. They don't know the people. They don't know the history. Shut your mouth, you haven't walked in our shoes.
  16. From the second he was drafted, I don't think Gilmore wanted to be here. Then again, if you look at recent history of our resigned players, it tells well.
  17. Why does Tyrod's Dad look like he ate some bad sushi?
  18. I move to have a poll added to this thread. That way, we can just decide for him if he retires or not. That IS what we are doing here, right?
  19. the safe play This makes me think back about the Clay restructure. I wonder if they were confident they could get the deal done and needed money this year.
  20. Calling all salary cap gurus...implications for the foreseeable future?
  21. So many emotions... ...I guess I can stopping secretly pulling for EJ (neverrrrrrrrr, muahahahaha!)
  22. That's not snow. Our medical staff surrounded him with cotton balls just in case he falls
