I like Micah Hyde, but he just sounded like a fool trying to defend McD and Co's running of the clock on the last drive of the game via WGR. All but confirmed their desire to keep games close and be conservative. God, I'm scared for this game (mostly for scared for the TV, as I may just through the remote through it)

I’m not the GM and won’t pretend to know who they could have had instead. But I can say that they’ve not produced to a level which many anticipated they’d play to. I never said it was a huge investment, but they undoubtedly put a lot of stock into bringing in guys who haven’t preformed. Again, they haven’t had a substantial ground game all year. I don’t believe they could run the ball at will on anybody. Either way, I’m not trying to argue over the RB usage and play calling, I was just trying to draw attention to the fact that I don’t think their OL is as capable of running the ball as well as many other teams -

I mean, Dawkins was a high draft pick. As was Ford. They signed 7 OL this offseason. Put all that together, and yes, I’d say it’s an investment. they could have kept a player like Teller, not signed 2 or 3 of those guys, and potentially have another play maker on the roster. as far as the attempts are concerned, you’re right. But until you see it happen, they can’t do it -

Bills spent all this capital on the OL and yet it seems every other team can run the ball better -

I never understood this argument. Do you think all of a sudden they’re going to be like “oh shoot, I guess we really have to try this week!” “I REALLY don’t want to lose, I suppose we should watch some film this time around....” But I do agree, they’ve shown a tendency to destruct -

I thought you fools were still sleeping! Out in Ellicottville with the extended family for the weekend. We’re packing up early to be sure we’re back to the house for game time. Trying to keep the routine the same: coffee chores (clean up rental property) WGR on the ride back Dominate the Clowns -

Week 10: Bills at Browns

If there is a games to go 6 OL in some packages, it’s this. I think it would give Smoke, Foster, or the TEs some good down field match ups by forcing more in the box -
Week 10: Bills at Browns

Everyone super concerned over the return of Kareem Hunt need to pump the brakes... Look at the teams/RBs the Bills have already faced so far his season. They’ve held up relatively well against them all, with the exception of some bone head missed assignments and tackles when, quite frankly, they had the RBs dead to rights. Nick Chubb is, and has been, a top back in the league this season. He is a big and strong player, much resembling AP in style. If you should be concerned about anyone in the run game, it’s him. Kareem hasn’t played ball in over a year. How many touches do you really think he’ll get? Are they going to take away the ball from their best player to give it to a guy who hasn’t shown squat since playing with Andy Reid’s fire power offense? Humans tend to have an irrational fear of the unknown, and for some reason, it’s always amplified when is comes to the Bills -
As others have mentioned, it’s near impossible to know what their assignments/rules/keys are on these plays. That being said, there is one major issue here regardless: Hesitation. Their lack of reaction directly leads to them catching blocks on their heels. that being said, the defense is still playing well. McD would rather give up those runs than a big pass play IMO. Having players as twitchy and athletic as Milano/Edmunds means we sacrifice size and “fill” in the middle.

Move Oliver to Defensive End

lol so take an explosive quick twitch player who would otherwise be lined up against slower guards/centers and move him out to face 1v1 a more agile Tackle?
