  4. this is true. it is also true to acknowledge that a handful of teams have gifted the points of turnovers and balls have bounced their way more than once. they are no doubt good. But I don’t think they’re unbreakable.

  8. As I walked up to the bar, I noticed that there was a little old lady eating by herself. I smiled, as did my wife, and we sat down a few stools from her. We ordered drinks and carried on our conversation, and I commented on the UB win. The lady must have overheard us talking football and piped in, “you better be going to the game tomorrow!” We ended up talking football, mostly the bills, for about a half hour while we drank and she finished her meal. We swapped football stories, future expectations, previous failures and it was an awesome exchange overall. Generations apart, worlds different, connected by one thing. The Bills. It was fun hearing her perspective, and in hindsight, it is amazing how this franchise can bring together two people who are otherwise so vastly different. I’ll probably never see that woman again, but you can’t help but feel a connection. As awesome as this board is, and as much as I like posting here, don’t forget to put your phone down every once and awhile and step away from the social media to see who else is out there. TBD will hopefully always be here for you, and in the mean time, look outside and see what other type of Bills fans you can meet. They have some awesome tales to tell. In the words of the old woman...”Saying ‘Go Bills’ is like saying Aloha...it seems to mean hello and goodbye”
  9. WGR 100% Howard and Jeremy for the morning commute Schoop and the bull dog for the ride home Nate, Jeremy and Sneaky Joe on Sunday’s before the game during chores plus Sal is on often and I like his insider perspective, not that I agree with it, but it’s nice hearing from someone in the room.
  10. So many types of soup I love but I’ve never had pumpkin
  11. This is a great topic for February we wait all year for the season, and then when it gets here, want to talk about the offseason!
  12. Woke up today feeling much more confident in the bills chances Sunday.
  13. No it's about the same. It just seems like there are more because normally we are one of them.
  14. I haven't followed the Redskins too closely over the last few years since I've been told never to look directly into the sun...BUT.... There defense has some pretty recognizable names. Idk about their production, but I'm interested to see how we hold up against their DL (very curious to watch Montez Sweat since from what I have seen, he looks like a beast). As is often the case with a 3-4 defensive front, the interior LBs don't appear to be the most athletic, quick twitch type players. In fact, their LBs reminds me of the polar opposite of what we have here in Buffalo. I hope Daboll can try to exploit these match ups in the slot and force them into more nickel and dime looks, at which point they can smash Frank up the gut! Josh Norman hasn't played up to his previously thought up status earned in Carolina...I think he can be had. Landon Collins is a beast against the run, though. I think it'll be a tough match up for Josh and Co. However, this is where your COORDINATOR puts you in a position to maximize your talent and exploit match ups. I hope he is done outsmarting himself and looks to find the best one v one plays he has.
  15. I feel great. Ya'll grandpas need some icy hot!
  16. I agree with all you say here but also don't see a problem with blaming Daboll. You can argue the execution of plays and lack of talent is a major problem, but week in and week out there are less talented, younger players who are put in the right position and succeed. Allen has been far from perfect, but Daboll hasn't exactly schemed up a masterpiece either.
  17. Does he catch passes? ? If you're saying that another DT to pair with Phillips is a need, why not sign Phillips to an extention first? I get that they've underperformed as a whole, but look at the position as a whole: They've invested a first round pick, a 3rd round injured player who will be back next year, signed a guy in free agency (who they will likely try and extend) and overpaid Star (all while trotting out a practice squad player in Peko) I HIGHLY doubt that they would put any more resources into a single position group when we have much more glaring needs IMO. I'd argue we need a pass rushing DE more than another DT. And above all else, more play makers on O.
  18. I wonder why they've gotten away from 5 wide and 2x2 spread gun formations. We also saw WAYYYY less motion on Sunday. I'd spread it out every play. To be clear, that doesn't mean throwing the ball 50 times, but rather trying to open up some space
  19. If the sabres end up blowing that 2-0 lead, I will punish myself by watching the rest of the game Could we see an 8-8 division winner?
  20. Are they afraid to let Mason throw the ball now?
