It takes a leftwing nutbag to think the elimination of 122 union positions is bad in any situation.

I have to confess I'm genuinely disappointed with what Ryan is selling. First and foremost, the Democratic party can go phuck themselves from here to eternity for putting the country in this situation in the first place. ACA has made health coverage horrible for more people than it ever helped, and they did it all with the intent of collapsing the table to make more and more people dependent on the government. And they did it by openly and disgracefully lying to the face of the American people. They should never be forgiven or forgotten for this clusterphuck of self-serving money-laundering liberal stupidity. That said, I expected much more from the GOP than what I'm reading. The federal government needs to get the hell out of this health insurance business beyond providing help for those who TRULY need it. And for those of us who ARE self-accountable and self-sufficient, I want dozens of private insurance firms giving me options from everywhere. I want simple Chinese menus from which I can choose the coverage that matters to me and my family. Yes, I understand the three-step process, and I even appreciate the concept behind it, but unfortunately, you're not going to be successful working with these Democrats. They're batschitt hysterical right now and there is no end in sight. You're not going to slowly bring these idiots along to agree on anything the GOP does. So with the same naivete I judged the ACA, I say to Ryan and the GOP...phuck it. You've been talking repeal and replace for four years, and STILL don't have a viable ready-to-go plan. That's embarrassing. So Let Obamacare death spiral. Let the world watch what the Democrats did to everyone simply because they were too selfish to approach Obamacare with anything but their own wallets in mind. If we're bold enough to elect Donald Trump, we should be bold enough to let Obamacare completely schitt the bed. And Magox...you know this stuff better than most here. I have always respected your real world views of both ACA and Ryan's plan, so I want you to know now I KNOW you think what I've written is ridiculous and not a plan. But dammit...the three-step plan -- which, in theory, is the right approach from a bi-partisan standpoint -- is just not going to work because the left has completely lost its mind with Trump.

I ultimately found Yurbuds before they went wireless, and since went to the Jabra Step wireless for cost (I'm not self-proclaimed vinyl-records-are-the-best audiophile), and put the Yurbud earmolds on the Jabra. That said, the AfterShokz have my attention. Especially with the multipoint pairing. Thanks for that tip.

Years ago I was setting up a 10x10 pop-up booth for a show at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. I had three signs with Velcro on them that stuck to the back wall. Union came by and made me take them down and hire a 'decorator' for minimum 2-hours of work to put them back up on the wall. But hey...progress, amirite?

Let me make this easy for you. I have no problem with unions at all except for two things: mandatory union membership/dues and tenure Eliminate them and we're all good. But you can't eliminate that, because then you eliminate the money-laundering scheme that gives millions to union bosses who give millions to political campaigns to elect far left nutbags who force company employees to give millions to unions in the form of dues. And then protect some workers by giving them "tenure" so no matter how crappy they are at a job, you can't fire them. Helluva scheme if you can get away with it, I guess.

Don't bother. Gator's trying to copy/paste his overlord's entire position on ACA, which he's beeen copy/pasting for months and sounds a lot like this: "Obamacare is an amazing law that saved millions of lives and gave health care to everyone," until the GOP changes the law, in which case "The GOP owns this disaster law that is leaving millions of people for dead." It's how the left tries to alter the fact that the abortion known as ACA was created by, and remains exclusively owned by, the Democrats.

So it's kind of like Salon or Slate, but with Bills fans.

While I can empathize with the situation at your wife's workplace, the reality is that poisoned atmospheres create high turnover, high turnovers create inefficiencies, inefficiencies erode margins, and once the pocketbook gets hit, people who own/run the company tend to adjust personnel to eliminate the poisoned atmosphere. It doesn't often happen quickly, and many times it's corrected long after the quality people are gone, but in the end, when you find yourself at a bad job, you only have to ask yourself a few questions: Can you change it? If the answer is no, can you live with it? If the answer is still no, then, well, what are you waiting for? You can always go get what your worth. Always. But it's up to you, not someone else to make that happen. Here's an example: The Buffalo News is in the process, apparently, of developing new contracts for the workers. The newspaper will do promotions about how great it is, and when they do, left wing-nutbag-turned-sports writer Timmah Graham is often times tweeting "If the newspaper is that great, it can afford to give the workers the contract they want." This is stupidity. If you want to make a point to the newspaper, quit and get what you're worth somewhere else. And if you can't, come to terms what your current market value and take the steps necessary to increase your value. Unfortunately, self-important people are usually crappy as self-awareness and, ultimately self-accountability, so the easy, lazy, progressive thing to do is complain that you're not getting what you're worth because 'the man' is out to get you.

Do you remember how upset the political left was when as SoS, Hillary Clinton laundered millions through the Clinton Foundation from terrorist states in exchange special favors? Neither does anyone else. You mean like when Hillary tried to get the Ukraine to sabotage Trump campaign? Yes. It should all be investigated. Let's get started. Wait. Let me guess. Okay, just trying to make things easier for you here. You know sometimes in the comment sections of various publications, you see that ad like "I just bought a brand new Rover by working from home!
