  1. Are you that special breed of not-a-leftist who promotes leftist ideologies with every mis-typed word while insisting you're not a leftist? I think there's a name for that. Oh, yeah. You're a baskinist.
  2. Perhaps Baquet should have said "nothing like this has ever happened at the White House to the NYT," because he sounds stupid. I didn't like it when Obama did it and I don't like it when Trump does it. It's just funnier this time because these nuts have such a superior view of themselves. You can'd to that to me! Why, we're the MEDIA!
  3. “Nothing like this has ever happened at the White House in our long history of covering multiple administrations of different parties,” Dean Baquet, executive editor of The New York Times, said in a statement. At least not since Obama did it to Fox News and others. That doesn't justify the move, but it's funny watching the Obama-coddling media take it up the out hole.
  4. No. I'm talking about the countless leftists who will link it in their social media accounts...and then having it linked from there. Outrageous stupidity is very profitable right now. I saw a Daily News op-ed making the rounds after Beyonce at the Grammys, titled something like "Having a child isn't a miracle and doesn't make you special." It was begging to be clicked.
  5. This isn't about legalizing it. It's about the WH clamping down on illegal use. He may as well try to clamp down on teenagers spiking the punch at a high school dance. Or clamping down on people who who drive slowly in the left lane. It's a fool's errand.
  6. It doesn't matter. Slate got what it wanted. Clicks.
  7. That's just damn funny.
  8. And here I thought gator was the most childish person here.
  9. If ever there was something for the WH to consider NOT a priority, this is it. You can try and tie it to the opioid thing, but you're pissing in the wind. There is pretty much nothing the WH can do to stem the use of weed, and any effort will be mocked and ridiculed. If they're trying to distract, find something else to distract with because pretty much everyone is okay with weed these days.
  10. Frankly, it he would just get a new keyboard and some basic grammar lessons, I'd consider reading his tripe. But as it is, it mostly looks like he puked on the screen.
  11. I agree about this, but it's mostly because the left has made it fashionable to mock sources as a way of halting conversation. So now it's the thing to do. And let's be honest, Alex Jones is a compete nutjob. But every video I've watched of this particular guy is pretty much balls-on accurate and irrefutable, so when he starts making stuff up, then I'll ignore him.
  12. Yeah, I gave up listening to his sniveling a long time ago. I kept watching O'Reilly for a while, and Holmes would inevitably end up there, but O'Reilly was so condescending, I was surprised Holmes kept going back for more. At some point you need to realize when your sole purpose is to be someone else's punching bag, like Kirsten Powers. Brilliant, level-headed lefty who O'Reilly and Hannity treated like dirt. She at least opted out.
  13. The adaptation may have been bad (I never read the book), but the movie was outstanding. By the time Herr Doogie Howser proclaims the giant leaky vagina is afraid, well, I think everyone agrees that we all felt a big double shot of pride in that day.
  14. RIP, Colmes. "Brief illness" and "cancer" in the same sentence seems to be more commonplace these days and it's got to be heart wrenching. He was always a nice guy, but he was also the quintessential lock-step talking point Democrat. He was opposite Hannity because he was the left version of Hannity: very little substance...just blather.
  15. So the answer is that you're lazy. A basic keyboard costs less than a pound of bad coffee. Are we to believe you have hours a day to write ridiculously embarrassing thoughts, but no time to swing by Goodwill for a $2 keyboard?
  16. Twitter was made to mock stuff like this:
  17. TV pilot gets made about fake morning show called "Good Morning, Tri-State" using real people who don't know the morning show is fake. Show doesn't get picked up. Creators release pilot online. Great comedy ensues. Dig it.
  18. Is there a reason you are unable to start a sentence with an upper case letter? Are you lazy or do you need a new keyboard?
  19. Too bad no one will do anything about it.
  20. The current president of the United States spent a year telling the country that he will build a wall along the border of Mexico and shut down any and all illegal immigration. He went from coast to coast with this seemingly exclusive campaign promise. "We're gonna build a wall!" Over and over and over he yelled this at the top of his lungs while the media yelled about it being a ridiculous promise because nobody cared about illegal immigration. He then beat the snotschitt out of a woman who was globally predicted and believed to be winning the race in a landslide by pretty much every person who could spell the world 'poll.' But yeah...illegal immigration is down the list on American priorities. And Chef Jim on Jeopardy says...
  21. Turns out it wasn't Prop 57, but an older Jerry Brown early release program AB 109. According to this story, the suspect, Michael Christopher Mejia, a 26-year-old gang banger was arrested five times since July for probation violation. Probably the only comforting part of this story... Could be 10 days. Could be 20. Depends on how much "flash incarceration" hold is needed.
  22. We were watching it live last night. We're not far from there, and we have a couple of very good friends/neighbors who work PD at neighboring towns. It's a bit upsetting, to say the least. But look on the bright side. If Brown's early release program keeps going at this pace, the next Democratic presidential candidate will win CA by over 3 million votes!
  23. Agreed. The bike lobby must have some serious cash. One would think if ANYONE should keep aware it would be the idiots on bikes.
