  1. Brilliant. One the funniest things I have seen in a long time.
  2. Exactly. It's also interesting the deal gets made 1 or 2 days before season ticket renewals are due. I don't think it will really help them much, but it will be fun top watch.
  3. any link. I'm in Cal. and can't get anything from Buffalo.
  4. That's funny. Buffalo really has become the Detroit Lions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_f...season_droughts
  5. Really, where? Not on the O-line. Not on the D-line RB - Lynch and Fast Freddie or OK. WR - Evans over paid, under performs. Not much else todate Evans had more "goats" per Bills Daily than anyone on the team. QB - I hope Edwards can get it going and learn to throw the ball down field.
  6. Isn't Renaldo Nehemiah available? http://www.nfl.com/players/joeygalloway/profile?id=GAL752888
  7. Vick running the "Wildcat"? That's for the dogs.
  8. I would love a great young DT OR a great young DE. Pulled basically the same stuff for 2007 and 2008. Just looking at the stats, I would say simply adding Stroud to the D-line greatly improved the run defense, but the pass rush re: sacks was just as bad this year, but in 2007 seemed to get more pressure re: INTS. Buffalo generated virtually no pass rush or pressure, sacks or INTS in 2008. 2008 ========================================== 14th total yards/game and 14th points/game 22nd rush yards/game and 21st rush yards/attempt 28th sacks/game 27th INTS/game 2007 ========================================== 31st total yards/game and 18th points/game 25th rush yards/game and 26th ruch yards/attempt 29th sacks/game Tied 10th INTS/game
  9. Reed should be a situational guy at best, Parrish is listed as a receiver but shouldn't be used as one, and Hardy is injured at this point and who knows what he has, Jenkins has "0" career receptions per NFL.com in three years.
  10. He's already signed, for 2 more years. I say let him come into camp, see where his head and ability are at, and then go forward. If he had come into camp, prepared like everyone else, and actually player well, he'd most likely have his contract by now. Bad mistake on his part.
  11. Oh, OK, it's the line calls. Did you see the play where Chris Long of the Rams head faked going outside on Peters, and then just moved right by him to the inside? Without being touched? What line call is that? Peters was like 31'st in sacks, and Dockery was like 28'th or 29'th.
  12. Which Peters are they negotiating with? The 2007 Peters, or the 2008 Peters who gave up more sacks than any L tackle in football? In only like 12 games?
  13. Bills Daily has him being signed 2/27. http://billsdaily.com/depthchart/ NFL.com says never been in a game?
  14. I agree, however the Bills front office is also incapable or unwilling to draft O-linemen. They just can't do it, so they draft D-backs.
  15. Ditto. Same clowns in front office, same result on field.
  16. I think you're right, the numbers were cap numbers, which really doesn't make any difference any more as the Bills are so far under the cap, and won't spend the money. The "cash to cap" deal looks to me to give almost all the money up front, which really puts the team in a bad position, because the player has little incentive to perform, and the team has little incentive to dump them as the money is already down the tubes. IMO. Both these guys simply need to be replaced, fast.
  17. Yes, I do. They can keep Jauron because he costs very little, one of the lowest paid coaches in the league, and ol' Ralph seems to think he's OK. 7 - 9 is just enough to put butts in the seats, so far, blah, blah, blah. My question was how can the Bills seemingly admit DE is a major need, and still keep both these guys whose contracts account for approx. $ 15 Mil. of the approx. $ 88 Mil. (per Bill's Daily Front Office's Salary Cap Page) actual money, or about 17 % - 18 % of the total team player money?
  18. The Bills were extremely unproductive this past year getting to the QB or even getting pressure on the QB. 2008 28th in league in sacks 2008 27th in league in INTs 2007 29th in league in sacks Kelsay had 2 sacks, and Schobel was also nonexistent before going out for the season with 1 sack. Schobel will be 32 when the season starts and Kelsay will turn 30 during the 2009 season. Everyone seems now willing to admit DE is possibly the greatest area of need for the team. How can the Bills keep both or either of these players given the horrible contracts handed out by Marv, which look to total approx. $ 15 Mil. this coming year? I have never really been much of a Schobel guy, but how can you pay a a DE $ 9 + Mil a year, who is coming off a season only playing 5 games, and also likely having to draft a player at this position in 1st round?
  19. Also, if he loses his starting gig to Denney or a high draft rookie, they may have to cut him loose. I'm all for that. Horrible signing/contract by Marv.
  20. Right, you would think. The other thing that I haven't heard much about is, in California, I believe if you have any alcohol or drugs in the car and the car is running or even if the KEYS are in the ignition, that's also a DMV infraction/moving violation issue. Any Cali attorneys speak up.
  21. You really are grasping at straws here, which makes any arguement for Jauron seem even more desperate.
  22. Agreed. Apparently this clown didn't get the message the first time.
  23. Maybe Housh' doesn't below in the Pro Bowl. Peters certainly didn't. Evans was for 2008: 19'th in receiving yards 33'rd in receptions Tied at 61'th with 40 other guys with 3 TDs We don't agree. I expect a lot more than 3 TDs from a guy making $ 9 Mil. a year also.
