  1. Just curious, as the topic is defense and getting pressure or the lack of it, did Marv ever give any explanation or rationale for the ludicrous contracts given Kelsay and Schobel? The D-line situation is looking worse than before given the Marv/GM moved made when here.
  2. Its hard to win in the NFL in Buffalo. Its hard for Jauron to win in the NFL.
  3. You are correct. I just can't see how any Pro team can draft a guy that high, have such a glaring need at that position, and not be able to figure out how to get him the ball. I do agree that Edwards is most likely just as at fault as Hardy, but he did drop a few also.
  4. He had 9 receptions in 2008 for 87 yards. That type of production will be hard to replace, but if the surgery and rehab go well, he comes back on time, hasn't lost a step, gets up to speed by the start of the season, improves his route running and the Pro game clicks with him mentally, he could have a BREAKOUT year. Like 17 - 19 catches!
  5. Nice post. With the sale of the Toronto games I assume, the 2008 Bills were valued at $855 Mil. putting them # 14 I believe, and increasing in value a very high 11 % over 2007. Ol' Ralphy made a nice buck selling the Toronto game, and also increased the total value in doing so it would seem.
  6. Someone hurry up and call Marv, and let's get this guy signed to a Kelsay type deal NOW!
  7. The 2009 Buffalo Bills: Come watch us play or we'll sell a game to Mexico City! The 2009 Buffalo Bills: Possibly your last chance to line Ralph's pockets before, you know.
  8. The 2009 Buffalo Bills: We're worth millions! The 2009 Buffalo Bills: A commitment to fielding a team for almost 40 years. The 2009 Buffalo Bills: We'll play football so you won't have to. The 2009 Buffalo Bills: Join us on Sunday, spend some money and buy some crap. The 2009 Buffalo Bills: Come on, you've got nothing better to do!
  9. Some of these agents were absolutely laughing their asses off when doing these contracts, I promise you.
  10. Or Jauron for that matter.
  11. Hardy caught 9 passes this season. Nine (9): that's 8 more than 1. Could he have been ANY worse? How many passes did he drop?
  12. Thank you Mrs. Losman.
  13. Chad Pennington turned the Miami Dophins from a 1 - 15 team to a 11 - 5 team?
  14. You do realize the Miami Dophins won the AFCE with an 11 - 5 record?
  15. How about you to BILLSZONE for a one year deal? http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/forumdisplay.php?f=2
  16. I said a couple weeks ago, Buffalo is in for a shock next year. Look for the Bills to go 5 - 11, maybe 6 - 10 but no better than that I'm afraid.
  17. Which is it? Depends apparently on what spin is required for the given situation. If you are defending your head coach, then there's not enough talent. If you defending your decision to stay pat, your talent is pretty close. Sounds about right. Go away Ralph. Nobody's buying it, at least not me.
  18. during the season... and fired their head coaches the day after season ends. Buffalo beat Oakland Raiders, who later fired their head coach. Buffalo beat St. Louis Rams, who fired their head coach the next day. Buffalo beat by San Francisco after firing their head coach. Buffalo beats Denver, and head coach is fired two weeks later after when ends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buffalo retains head coach after three (3) losing seasons. Analysis: Beating Buffalo is not going to save your job, and if Buffalo does manage to beat you, you're probably gone, FAST.
  19. If anyone OTHER than the NFL wanted a team in LA, they would have one.
  20. Don't buy season tickets. You want to see a game, buy the individual game tickets. Period.
  21. WALDORF: They aren’t half bad. STATLER: Nope, they’re ALL bad!
  22. THats pretty much going to happen anyhow.
  23. They are the Anti-Bills.
  24. New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. P.S. 1-15 Miami improves 10 games in 1 (one) year to 11 - 5, walks right past Buffalo and Jauron, like they were standing still and wins the AFCE.
  25. Except for that sack, which caused a fumble, which led to the only TD of the game. Also: I can't remember even JP staring down and locking onto receivers the way T.E. does. It's really remarkable he completes as many as he does.
