  1. Exactly. Even more, they are really going to have problems selling tickets for those Toronto games as the novelty wears off and Toronto fans don't pay inflated prices for a sub-par product.
  2. Look, we might as well have a little fun with the whole thing. Life's too short. Thats a bumper sticker idea, "Life too short to be a Bills fan."
  3. I believe Losman is now more than ever, a sack waiting to happen. If he starts, and has approx. 35 pass attempts, he'll be sacked 5 + times. Also, probably 1 pick and 1 fumble. Maybe. Call your shot.
  4. I guess we're lowering expactations again. Before the season started, DJ had commited to a playoff appearance. Not a playoff win, just an appearance. Not going to happen.
  5. It was pretty much a done deal for me when Ralph stated at the Toronto signing/press conference, and I paraphrase, that he didn't care whether fans in Buffalo were concerned about the Bills future in Buffalo. What else really needs to be said. Wish I had the quote.
  6. Do you have any idea how much money he is making by taking a game away from Buffalo and selling tickets in Toronto?
  7. Exactly. Schobel is so done. Marv signing Kelsay and Schobel to those ridiculous contracts were quite possibly the worst personnel moves I've witnessed by the Bills since Ole' Whitey left. I said "quite possibly", there are others.
  8. We'll find out if it is a love affair, or just a fling, when the draft comes. –noun 13. an act of flinging. 14. a short period of unrestrained pursuit of one's wishes or desires: The week of partying was my last fling before starting a new job.
  9. If this is true, and the Bills don't can him anyhow, I will go on record as predicting a 25 % drop on season tickets sales before the season starts, and also that the Buffalo Bills will be not better than 6 - 10 next season.
  10. bump.
  11. Yes. Doh! I guess the relevant thing is no matter what they do with him, they're on the hook for the $ 11 mil. So at this point, it's simply a matter of spending $ 3 mil. on him this year or dumping him?
  12. That's what I'm trying to figure out. He already got the signing bonus, and that's the major chunk of the guaranteed money.
  13. I'm looking at the 2007 Front Office page and seeing below Kelsay get $ 11 M signing bonus? Is this correct? http://billsdaily.com/frontoffice/2007.shtml The Salary Cap page says $ 5 M this year I assume, and $ 3M cash-cap. How much has he already been paid, and how much would it cost to dump him. Dead cap money? http://billsdaily.com/frontoffice/salarycap.shtml
  14. Used this as a quote in my sig line. Hope you don't mind. Captures the sentiment well I thought. I'll take it off if and when you want.
  15. Well, that's mostly true. I want them to win so bad. How many years must we wait? Just for the record: 1. I was very happy about the D-line signings/trades this off-season. 2. I was also very optimistic about Edwards when drafted, after last season, and still am. 3. Also, I really like the way the current front office doesn't seem married to all their decisions: McCargo can't get it done, bring in some other guys and try to get something for him. 4. Liked drafting a DB very high, and a WR very high. Not sure they got the right guys, but liked the approach. 5. Let Fairchild walk. BRAVO!
  16. Very good. Thank you, and thanks for the correction.
  17. 2006 7 - 9 - don't see a team with a winning record at the end of the season. 2007 7 - 9 - saw 1 team, the Washington game. Gibbs messed that up. 2008 6 - 5 - 4 wins against teams a combined 8 - 36, and no win against team better than 4 - 7 to date. Looking ahead to next years opponents, the Bills play the NFCS, looking to be a very good division, and the AFCS, again a good division. The AFCE may be one the better/best in football with NE being on top, and the Jets and Miami being good. How are the Bills going to win 9 or 10 games next year when they have beaten 1 winning so far in 2 + years? I think this team is in more trouble than many may want to admit, and also that they were built to win this year IMHO. Flame away. 18. Well, I see the logic, it's just that in 1 year Miami looks to have walked right by Buffalo after three more years of rebuilding, and I just don't see this front office/coaching staff being able to keep up with Miami, New England and the Jets. Jets and Phins won 5 games total last year, and look at them now. That is no accident, nor is it luck. Flame away. EDIT: Almost forgot, Jets just took down the Titans, Bufalo couldn't beat the 3-6 Browns at home.
  19. 2nd that.
  20. Next year the Bills play the NFCS, and the Titans and the Colts. Jauron et al, won't have the luxury of beating up the NFCW or the AFCW. Not to mention, Miami is most likely going to be even stronger under Parcells and Brady will be back with the pats.
  21. Why does someone ALWAYS bite?
  22. That's really funny. I think Jauron's carreer is in a "slump".
  23. That funny. I was watching a show on Discovery or History or some other channel about the Falls' barrell riders just this week. Maybe they can get Jauron to go the Falls in a barrell, telling him it's a publicity stunt for 2009 season ticket advertising?
