  1. Anyone know what the Bills got? Is this confirmed?
  2. Agreed, agreed. Please Bills Hydra GM, draft an O-lineman day 1.
  3. I agree. It's almost not even really a rule, it's more of a handicap tailed for the QB/offense. Where else anywhere in sports is the players mental process, or changing his mind, used to give the player what amounts to a do-over? Seriously.
  4. LOL, right. I drives me nuts that when they call that rule, it's never when the QB is just standing there by himself. They are negating a fumble AND a sack in some cases, because the QB can't hold the ball.
  5. The problem is, nowhere in the rule does it say anything about the QB being hit. What it amounts to is, the "non-pass" is ruled an incomplete pass, and not a fumble.. They are also adding that it doesn't apparently matter that the pass was in part or whole caused by the defender making contact, hitting or sacking the QB. They're saying almost, oops, the QB fumbled, but we won't call it a fumble. Just stupid IMO.
  6. The horrible thing about that rule is is says NOTHING about the fumble being in part caused by contact. I really think they misinterpret the rule http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuck_rule
  7. Brutal rule. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuck_rule
  8. Yeah, get off Mr. Fancy Pants!
  9. Jason Peters needs to quit eating and go block someone.
  10. Miami and Houston game interesting: Mia: 21 Hou: 20 with ball and driving im Mia territory.
  11. I have wondered how much Peters actually weighs now, and what he weighed when originally picked up by Buffalo? Where could one find this?
  12. Right now I'd trades Peters' lazy butt for a warm beer and 1/2 a pack of smokes.
  13. Some very good points. The question is, does one feel the Bills are close to MAKING the playoffs, or winning a game in the playoffs. I think they still need to build the roster, the O-line/D-line and receivers specifically. Would they need to change the offense to get T.G. the ball? Do the Bills know how to use a pass catching TE?
  14. He's on his 12'th season, and will 33 this coming Feb. I think if the Bills were one or two players away, maybe you make a deal, however IMO they should keep trying to build through the draft. First 3 picks in '09 draft should be some combination of DL, OL and receiver.
  15. I think there is no question they overpaid for Evans, but how much choice did they really have. Even with drafting Hardy this year, the Bills still really have a lot of nothing at WR, other than Evans. Reed is really producing catches, but this team is still very thin at WR. Most likely will be so for several years. They need to keep drafting the position and hope in another 2 - 3 years they have a nice unit. The one thing I don't like about Evans, is he will disappear for entire games, and is never going to be a 8-9 catch / game receiver.
  16. A good G.M. needs to know when to dump a player 1 year too early, not 1 year too late. Signing Schobel to that MEGA contract was foolish and will be costing this team for some time I expect. Schobel looks about done last year. Can't get anything going against Mike Gandy? OMG. This scouting department/Hydra G.M. have continued problems drafting O-line and D-line talent.
  17. Bills still having trouble running the ball after all these years. The offense is better than last year, no doubt, but that's not saying a whole lot.
  18. LOL. I'm glad to hear it. Someone needs to tell him.
  19. Hmm? I don't know. Perhaps someone can ask him when he wakes up.
  20. Yeah, that whole 41 point thing seemed to work out quite well also.
  21. Yes, "The Package" was great. Still can't believe they split those guys up. 700 + lbs of beef right in the middle.
  22. You would have to ask Ol' Whitey, Teflon Tom, Hollywood Donahoe.
  23. I read somewhere that the Gandy was the starting LT for the Cards. Schobel couldn't get any pressure against GANDY? Sure glad Marv resigned him to that huge contract.
  24. Well, I am not happy. The D-line still needs work, Schobel is playing today? Stroud had at least a good stop. O-line is not playoff caliber, it just isn't. JP looked like, well, JP.
