    Almost all of these guys seemed to have at least one bad season, where their FG percentage plummeted (Carlson had a season where he was 73%; Tucker had one where he was 82%; butler had one when he was 75%; sanders had a few where he was around 75%; same with Boswell). so, seems like it is not uncommon for a kicker to have a slump season, and then rebound.

    great idea. Timing is pretty interesting. Schedule release Wednesday and the Sunday ticket discount ends Thursday, I believe.

    exactly! A little off season will clean it up.

    Bass has a natural fade. it’s probably just like in golf. Just a little mechanical issue (eg, coming over the top), and that fade turns to a slice. also like in golf, probably just a few slight tweaks and he will be fine.

    Looks like Copeland to McNeese State is official. Will Wade is the real deal over there. Edit: sounds like he is going to play point guard for them too.

    Agreed. i also think it’s easier if you are more of a sharp shooter or a big, to be able to carve out a role. There aren’t many guys I can think of like Mintz off the bench in the NBA.

    I have been back and forth a little on a Mintz. I agree that he is not going to get drafted. But it’s interesting to see all these undrafted guys now in the NBA who have carved out a real nice niche for themselves. So, maybe it will work out for him. Who knows?

    I think the bills wide receiver room Is filled with a lot of good golfers! Claypool supposedly can play too. while I say this mostly as a joke, I do wonder if there is something to Josh wanting guys he can golf with and hang with! As a golf enthusiast myself, I can see the temptation in that.

    Another day, another departure. This is just getting depressing. I think that leaves two centers on the roster, and Nyheim seems like he isn’t the most durable. BTW, my buddy who is a McNeese State fan (actually played for them) sent me photos of Quadir Copeland down there eating alligator as he was being wined and dined. I still can’t get over losing him!
