Gotta love the process: 1) President submits a mostly symbolic budget 2) Congress bastardizes budget in order to add ungodly pork 3) President signs budget 4) Congress blasts the President for signing the budget they sent to him to sign ...and the cycle continues...

Yeah, and I also remember how obnoxious they are. When my new boss found out I was a Bills fan, he said "<cough>losers<cough>." I followed it up with, "So how many Super Bowls have the Iggles won?" I have no trouble with decent Iggles fans. My mother-in-law is a die-hard fan and I feel bad for her. I just have no sympathy for the a-hole fans and have no trouble rubbing in their loss whenever they bring up the Bills Super Bowl losses.

I have a jets fan here at work, and all last week he was mocking the intelligence of Iggles fans and their cheer. Every 10 minutes, you would hear him yell: "E-A-G-...err..Q...umm..I...err...E-S IGGLES!!!!" I have to say it was pretty funny.

Even with forcing myself to NOT watch any local news coverage these last two weeks, I was still at the point of going postal if I heard "Fly Iggles Fly" one more time. I was gonna puke when I heard it after Iggles touchdowns last night. Did you see the Inquirer articles on the guy with the tattoo and the planning of the parade BEFORE they played the game?

The bridges were pretty clear this morning. I take the Betsy Ross to work, and there were only a few jumpers.

I think that JP needs to actually PLAY in a big game in the NFL before we can judge whether he can win it.

You have to remember that the Dems do not want the Republicans to get credit for doing something with Social Security. They feel that it is their issue and want to save it for election time. Therefore, everything that they said previously about wanting to fix Social Security, having private accounts and the fact that it is critical that something be done all takes a back burner (relying on the fact that the American public is too stupid to remember their quotes from a few years ago) while they obstruct this so that they can save it for their side when they regain power. On the KRC for President vote issue, it will take time before anything like that is published. People do not care about write-in candidates so they are not concerned about quickly counting those votes.

The argument being used is that people are too stupid to manage their money and will probably blow it. Therefore, you need to let the government blow it for you since they have become experts at it. No sense in letting amateurs blow it, when you have professionals that can do it for you.

Normally, this would be posted on the Customer Service board, but SDS gave this his blessing. Has anyone else had issues with PM's getting "lost" in the ether? What I mean is that you would send a PM, but the recipient would not receive it? Anyone?

It started with them being jealous of Buffalo making the Super Bowl every year. It kinda grew from there.

I am surrounded by obnoxious Iggles fans here at work. It is going to be a long day. Monday will be even longer if they win. The only thing that would save me on Monday is that most of the fans will still be in their drunken stupor.
