  1. I realize everbodys thinking it's his contract year why not keep him and let him perform, but i also see if we can get a 4th or better for him when he is very likely gone next year why not? I don't like the guy, but that no means suggests he's a cancer in the locker room i just don't see the consistentency and heart from the guy that all great runners have . Pyrite would you want him back if he had a great year next year knowing the kind of money he will command, i wouldn't i don't see him as a complete running back and i don't ever think he will be. 95 percent of the best rbs ever have been 5'9-5"10, 210-220 lbs guys that can cut and are nimble enough to be a threat out of the backfield and i want one in that mode!
  2. Looks good to me!
  3. About a month ago i posted how high i was on olsen the te out of miami, and asked the question if he fell to us in the 2nd round should we grab him. Unfortunately theres no way in hell it's going to happen now after the combine he has been having 4.45 and 4.47times (4.51 officially) and he's shown great hands, people seemed down on the guy. I totally based my likeness to him on what he has done on the field but i thought he would be lighter than the 250 lbs or so he logged in at,if the bills could trade down some spots and grab him and get an extra pick i would be for it though i know it's not a huge need! The running back position is completely a different story, i have been sick of Mcgahee for the last three years to me he hasn't shown consistent heart and is simply a dumbass, i realize it's his contract year and he will most likely play better, but i hope they can trade him. The bills need a running back who can do it all run, catch, and receive, a guy who has vision and can cut on a dime ala thurman. With Marv being here and Mcgahee shooting of at the mouth i think it's possibillity now that we can get a 3rd rounder for him anything more would be icing on the cake. I hope the bills can fill the majority of there holes through free agency mainly being the ol which i don't keep track of it i hope there is viable guards out there besides steinbach he seems to exspensive for the bills means of cap dollars. My ultimate offseason would be trading McGahee for a third getting olsen at say 18 and picking up an extra pick, getting a rb in the 2nd or 3rd i like nebraskas jackson i don't think he's a speed demon but like his skills (i am nebraska bias). That leaves guard maybe 2, an extra dt and and cb to address in either the draft or free agency, i just hope marv can get it done with the way they are supposedly going to spend the money, if he can we can contend next year. Thanks for reading and responsding in advance i have a tendency to ramble on!
  4. Sorry guys forgot to insert the tight end from miami! I was talking about there tight end, take care.
  5. I feel the biggest need at this point is a stud guard, but chossing a guard at 12 seems kind of high to me. I like the guy from miami for some reason the name escapes me, i metioned this about a month ago and got negative response, if we could sew up alot of our oline problems and defensive holes via free agency i wouldn't even mind trading down to fifteen or later and drafting the kid, i think he's going to be a good one!
  6. Just curious did you feel the same way last weekend when the colts beat baltimore? I picked the colts but i insisted they couldn't turn the ball over, peyton had two interceptions and they still won, i am not saying the colts will win though thats my pick but people are underestimating the way they are playing. The patriots are real fortunate they advance last week, san diego basically handed them the game on a silver platter!
  7. Actually that was one of my picks, but if there were justice in the nfl adam vinatierri would kick a last second game winning field goal in the afc championship and then do one of these at the ne sideline.
  8. In my opinion to start the season reggie bush and drew brees were making the selling of the tickets easy, then they started winning, i don't get it what is so hard to understand why they are selling out? When the bills win games they sell out again, hell they sold out all the time with a sh------- team how many stadiums can do that, especially with a big stadium for the size of the area, not many!
  9. I understand anyone can make a mock draft but these mocks were done after the season and they are from draft sites, i said i thought that it was sill not that i was surprised.
  10. I found it bizarre that some mock drafts still have us using our 1st pick on a qb (troy smith and jamarcus russell) in the ones i seen, i think thats quite silly. My real reason for the post was to discuss if he slips to us at #44 the possible drafting of tight end greg olson, most mocks have him going at the end of round one but one i seen had him going at 46. I am not sure how good a blocker the guy is but has really impressed me with his receiving skills while at miami and i am not a miami homer by any means can hardly stand the canes, was just curious what everyone thought? I myself would jump on the chance!
  11. I am very surprised a bills fan would want an assclown like that, i don't!
  12. Ray Lewis is a shade of his former self, with that being said i am sick of willis and his dumb ass (i went to the U) mentallity, really who gives a chit. The guy has been nothing but overated since he got here and the worst of it by most bills fans, give me a darn running back that can make cut's, is nimble, and can be a receiving threat out of the backfield any day over him. I may be crazy but if buffalo can pick up a 2nd or 3rd rounder for the guy in the offseason please shop him, we can do so much better at that spot and i hope the coaches realize it!
  13. Very well said i want a guy that bleeds buffalo blue, willis doesn't have the heart thurman or even travis had, i want a guy with that type of size, running style and heart!
  14. Ditto that i totally agree!
  15. I have been thinking all year that i want a running back in the 5"9 to 5"10 range that is a quick guy (great speed a bonus) 210-220. Remind you of anyone, like maybe all the great backs in league history bar a few. Someone who can catch it out of the backfield and is a master at screen passes it would help out jp so much not too mention the abillity to split him out occassionally like thurman was used. I guess i want a slasher or a guy that can actually read blocks, i say like most keep Mcgahee for his contract year and if a rb is available 3rd round or later in the upcoming draft they think might be a good bargain jump on it!
  16. I must have been watching the same game, clements in my opinion got toasted alot more than Mcgee! As already posted Mcgee if he gets beat seems to be right there to tackle the guy while nate seems so damn lazy and unmotivated. Mcgee doesn't talk sh-- like clements, and if nate gets 6 million or more(which i would think he will)or more a year at this point i hope he's gone!
  17. i have for weeks i forgot his name. I kept blindly thinking they would activate him at some point, did i miss something and he's hurt?
  18. Justcurious what was fluties record i didn't think or realize for that matter he had a losing record jdg?
  19. Eball last year was his first year starting at cb, he has improved greatly but last year he showed a hell of alot more than people are giving him credit for in my opinion,am i way off base?
  20. Mcgee is still learning at the corner back position, but no way he's average,as you said he has a nose for the ball and you have to factor in his winfield like tackling abillity he really don't miss many tackles. I don't feel he's as good as cover guy as clements but he's clsoing the gap and can catch the ball when he gets a chance. It's amazing alofof peoplewere ragging on his coverage abillity in the preseason after less than a year of starting time, i thought he showed very well in coverage last year for the minimal reps he had starting!
  21. Yes LOL thanks, you probly gave me my only response to my topic
  22. for the rest of the season, even if holcomb is the better qb right now i just don't see him be able to win 9 of 12 for a playoff spot. If the bill's coaches truly think JP is our qb of the future let him play out he's going to have to get his experience sometime, it sucks the season will most likely be a wash but we might get a real high draft pick and hopefully he can learn plenty. I know right now my opinion might not be real popular but i'm just curious what everyone thinks?
  23. I agree henry could end up being the better back, but chris brown has like ten less carries or so and more yards! I checked out the stats after last weekends games so i don'thave the exacts!
  24. Kelsay wasn't a decent player last year? He has started part of one year and i myself think he played well and can guarantee you he will be much better this year watch and get a clue!
  25. i've neverliked keyshawn but he and terry glenn are definitely better than average receivers in my book!
