what you say is true.........................but haslett is a coach who has publically stated he wants to coach the bills.........that goes a long way.i am not saying i want him here,but if he wants to be here it has to count for something

well it looks more and more like it will be haslett..and with clayton saying tom modrak and haz are very close,that probably seals the deal.i noticed it said modrak will be doing the draft and signing the free agents...........maybe marv is just really gonna oversee things and put his opinions in?if this is so were there any good coaches on the saints staff that may come with him?

the only mess i want mike martz to clen is the one on aisle 5 or the one in the mens room!

they already said this had nothing to do with it...that was clayton speculation when he 1st broke the story.the 2nd time around(5pm)they said it was cause mike felt he didnt like the way we were going to get free agents and coaching,that it wouldnt be contusive to winning.

that is what should be done,but it would never happen.i'd gladly give the titans their 3rd round pick back for jeff and then he can call mike in ny and get us a solid offensive coordinator.i imagine we could keep gray in place then since jerry was on jeffs staff .jeff can help jerry learn a little more for when he is ready to be a head coach.

why did mike martz draft orlando pace?and did he trade for marshall faulk?they won a superbowl because dick vermeil was the coach.they lost the 2nd superbowl because mike was the coach

well he does get a pass this year cause of spikes getting hurt and big pat williams leaving,but i dont think he is a solid d coordinator.and our top ranked d was a joke we were ranked on yardage allowed not on points allowed.it was bogus with the game on the line we would falter.his whole time here we have never been able to stop opponets on 3rd down,but maybe as a head coach he lets someone else coach the d and he just puts in his philosophy.the players love him and he has stated since day 1 he wants to be a head coach.i just hope he is not getting used for token interviews because of his race that wouldnt be right

one bad year?he was the d coordinator from the start of greg williams tenure do u remember 2001 season at all?we had two seasons where we were ranked#2 statistically .but it was bogus because we gave up a ton of points and we could never stop anybody on 3rd down or at any crucial time in a game when you had to make a stop.i like jerry though maybe he would be a better head coach than a defensive coordinator.the players like him but he does not adjust well during a game and relies way too much on the blitz.he has never ever added a wrinkle to our defense,a good coach would always be working on something new opposing teams have not seen.

i thought they keep saying they didnt fire jerry yet because they want him to look good for his interviews,but he is as good as gone.

oh give me a break............he accomplished something don shula couldnt. he beat the bills in the playoffs.stomping on some flutie flakes was no big deal.if i was a coach and say beat the jets in new jersey and they had a star player with his own cereal i would do the same.some peeps get way uptight over nothing.what ever happened to having fun and celebrating after a big win?

well i think since ralphie decided to be more active he has been calling these press conferences alot.i think he loves the attention.hell after we have a staff in place he might just fire levy and crew so he can hold another press conference.they must have free hotdogs or prune juice at these things or something!!

well this actually makes sense. when i 1st heard that haslett had said he would be willing to take a coordinator job my first thought was he really wanted to come to buffalo.haslett probably figured if mike faltered he would step in as head coach anyway.i am not saying i want jim as our head coach,but it sure looks that way

that wasnt his only good move,and when he left miami he left them with a pretty good defense that he drafted,and there are still those trades out there,ever hear of the siants complete draft for riki williams lol lol lol
