hutch is out of our league as far a spending.....i think we should focus on bentley draft the brick and keep justin peters at right tackle...that seems like a very realistic way to fix a line and it wont break the bank.....we can also cut moulds and say replace him with joe jurvicious and use the left over 2 million on our draft picks or to help on defense.if we do take the brick 1st we can use the rest of the draft on defense.go bills in'06

its not that fans "knew" mike would be a bust..............its that you dont take a right tackle 4th in the draft and make him your highest paid player in team history!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!that is what bothers the fans.....i would have picked wrong as well i wanted bryant mckinney real bad and i thought if not bryant then trade down for dwight freeney................when i heard those stories about bryant never giving up a sack in college i had a hardon for him,but yes anybody can look back a few years later and say this guy could have been had at say pick #14 and been a total stud and we coulda traded down and got this guy .after we drafted mike i figured he would be at least a good safe pick and be possibly moved to left tackle down the line............i seem to remember articles saying at draft time the only reason mike was a right tackle was because chriss simms was a lefty qb at texas and that was chrisses blind side.,go bills in'06

if eric does something like that then you could see him staying,he just cant at 11 million.at this stage in his career he should be a 4 or 5 million a year player.

can you imagine adding aj hawke to our linebacking core???????????? i am just not sure if you have great linebackers ,but you have a aging dt in sam adams you would be able to stop the run.now if we could do aj in the 1st and find another dt in free agency to help sam out or if tim anderson can finially improve a little we could have a good defense again...trade off would be we didnt address the oline again though.you have to have a balanced team unless your defense is #1 and totally dominate.if you go crazy defense then you need a elite punter/field goal kicker so u can win those 9-6 games.

he is a free agent who is getting a "franchise tag slapped on him" in other words nate aint going anywhere............no team is giving us 2 #1 draft picks for him and we wont find a sucker like atlanta when we robbed them in the peerless price trade.nate will be a bill for at least another season....if he plays well we will franchise him again next season.

well you can franchise him again next season as well.............didnt seattle franchise a player 3 seasons straight?
