well ralph is the president and said he would take a more active role....ralph also signs the checks............when we hired marv i figured it was more like to oversee everything..didnt he even say tom modrak will be doing the drafting? i think marv is there to give advice and to make sure everbody is on the same page or at least trying to get there..............they both(marv&ralph)did say alot of this would be by committee.on this one marv has to realize his guy is the wrong choice

well the chiefs did trade a draft pack away to get a miniorty coach,but yes i agree not so much with donnie henderson not getting a job,but more with tim lewis of the giants not getting one...i think he did a helluva job with the giants defense

i know inside the nfl blows...but tonight they had mike holmgren on there and he said when he decided to trade for matt hasselback he put his rep on the line and thathe had to stick with him and let him develop. at one point matt was the worst rated passer in football and even lost his job to trent dilfer,but when trent got back the time off gave matt renewed vigor in being a qb...............kinda like losman except mike mularky never really embraced him.mike had no balls at all glasd that sh--head is gone..........if mike was a real coach he cnever should have proclaimed it was jp's job at the beginning of camp.he should have made jp earn it.i would of rather seen kelly satrt the season and as we developed and jp as well let him ease in...bottom line mike really mishandled the whole qb thing...go bills in'06 and go jp

i like the fact how claton has been wrong almost every time this season........1st he says haz is our front runner,then the other day he says haz no chance with the bills cause he is going to detroit,and he was wrong about saunders taking the rams job,that went to liehan i think sherman and bates are coming

i agree with you lori............@the press conference ralphie did apologize to the fans for the "bad product" these past seasons.i also like how ralphie apologized for the sign flap as well.i just hope his next apology is the current uniforms!!!! but i do think ralph wants to bring in a "proven coach"and not another risky up and coming coordinator,even if the coordinator is real promising ralph is 87 and wants that lombardi trophy just once before he dies,go bills in'06

what you say is true bill....................but mike williams was the right tackle because it was chris simms blind side.chris is a lefty and that is why the thinking was that when mike matured he could be switched to left tackle.i remember the thinking that mike would be a solid cant miss pick and the left taclke that went to minnesota was supposed to have never given up a sack in college,as for me i think that was the year i wanted dwight freeny,everybody said he was too small and he would be a bust in the nfl but i liked the fact he played college in upstae ny

what you say makes alot of sense...................but if jauron is that well respected why didnt detroit want him....they really gave him the cold shoulder.when he was interm he said he would like the job and was told no right off.i would like him as a defensive coordinator.

well do not sell marv short i am sure marv loved james as a player and just maybe even if the bills are being bad maybe marv is asking james to interview and then ask him to be the o coordinator for sherman maybe sherman said yes to the bills and this is part of the master plan

yes i didnt want sherman at all...but after hearing on here last night all the posters saying how good bates is i have a change of heart and wouldnt mind having sherman here.....i also look at it another way............with sherman having gm exp,he could get booted upstairs if levy retires or mike does a good job.and say in 3-4 yrs bates can be the head coach.almost makes too much sense lol

yes tis is true................but theses are guys that were already coaches.marv didnt make them into coaches.when they talk about the parcells or bill walsh coaching trees they are talking about people who cut their teeth learning their systems from the start and then moving on to do their thing
