i think i now understand why marv levy is taking his time cutting eric moulds.......the buffalo bills clearly have the upperhand in this situation.the bills do not have to cut eric ,we are 9.5 million under the cap.we need only cut eric when we need the extra 5.5 million for a player we like.well what happens if say we keep eric the first few weeks of free agancy?i think most likely all of eric's potential suitors will have "shot their wad"and spent their free agent dollars.so when there are no teams left that can afford to pay eric ,we can ask him again "would you like to restructure"and then that is when eric says he never wanted to leave buffalo and all the usual player talk after restructuring.eric will say i really like all the moves the bills made and i believe this is the team that gives me the best chance to get a ring.eric will also acknowledge that he has to get on the same page as jp losman.i have posted many times eric should be cut at the money he is making,but if we can get his salary down to 2 or 2.5 million a year then he is just as good a choice as a #2 receiver then any others that are available in free agency or the draft....................go bills in'06

1st off the texans extended david carr..............so no way in hell is cutler going#1.with that said houston is not trading down either............reggie bush will be #1.................i would trade up for mario aj or dbrick.....

i want aj hawke.....maybe he slips because of the late push for cutler and vince young..id like to add to our strong linebacking by adding aj,i think at some point london will slow down and i would love to rotate a guy like this into our lineup.

lee evans is our#1 receiver now i am sure alot of fans will miss eric but the 5.5 million we get from cutting him will equal a joe jurevicious for like 3 million and 2.5 million left over to fill a hole some place else on the team....go bills in'06

no way in the world would i waste our#1 pick on a tight end.maybe if we were a contending team and there were no holes then yes get a tight end,.but i would like to see us get mario aj hawke or d'brick....you have to have solid lines a rb and a qb before you start thinking tight end....go bills in'06

how is it bad qb'ing when jp threw lee evans 3 touchdowns in the 1st quarter against miami last season and then eric benched himself because he threw a hissy fit?????????????come on be realistic...eric wants to be the man and he isnt anymore.he forced mike mularky to bench him..and this is supposed to be a veteren leader of your team?????????? no eric proved its all about him and not the team....the way eric treated jp and the team was sickening last year!

hutch is out of our league as far a spending.....i think we should focus on bentley draft the brick and keep justin peters at right tackle...that seems like a very realistic way to fix a line and it wont break the bank.....we can also cut moulds and say replace him with joe jurvicious and use the left over 2 million on our draft picks or to help on defense.if we do take the brick 1st we can use the rest of the draft on defense.go bills in'06

its not that fans "knew" mike would be a bust..............its that you dont take a right tackle 4th in the draft and make him your highest paid player in team history!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!that is what bothers the fans.....i would have picked wrong as well i wanted bryant mckinney real bad and i thought if not bryant then trade down for dwight freeney................when i heard those stories about bryant never giving up a sack in college i had a hardon for him,but yes anybody can look back a few years later and say this guy could have been had at say pick #14 and been a total stud and we coulda traded down and got this guy .after we drafted mike i figured he would be at least a good safe pick and be possibly moved to left tackle down the line............i seem to remember articles saying at draft time the only reason mike was a right tackle was because chriss simms was a lefty qb at texas and that was chrisses blind side.,go bills in'06
