  1. I would be into a "Horrible Harry" Shirt when 26 shirts makes one.....
  2. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/2862642/59ee94260427bc0f38c875f4 Yep better than Peterman....61.5% completion percentage..better footwork than Allen. Nice touch on highlight film deep throws and the out routes in the highlight film are pretty darn impressive. DII strong. :-) Maybe they were hiding this guy ---- 6' 1" - 205---had almost 1500 career rushing yards and over 7,000 passing yards. He's a rookie mini-camp arm but he has a chance to convince them not to bring a more heralded 4th arm to camp..Seriously watch his out patterns -- the first couple are impressive.
  3. Found this Tony Pauline write up about both Johson and Neal http://draftanalyst.com/senior-bowl-risers-defense McDermott spent all his time watching the DB's :-)
  4. Goats, Cows, Pigs make a special kind of music...
  5. He was on GMFB this AM. Made Kay look like a dwarf. Absolutely Immense. WWE will sign him if it doesn't work with the Eagles.
  6. I’d say we had some insider knowledge. This is a pretty good get it. His dad was amazing at getting separation. Hopefully it’s genetic.
  7. Thanks, CB. Was looking for these today. You are always on the spot! You are a grinder. You bring your lunch pail to the board every day. The Kyle Williams of this board. You have great upside. Am I watching too much draft coverage????
  8. Had a rough senior year....no one seems to know why....
  9. Father of twins. Has played Hybrid LB, Corner and Safety. Will also play teams. Short area cover guy with some size and speed. I think McD was really frustrated with not having short area cover guys and letting NE and others slant us down the field and then pitch the ball to a lightly covered Gronk for a big gain. He had no counter moves..Edmunds, Johnson and Neal give him some potential counter.
  10. I'd feel a lot better if Richie wouldn't have wigged out...but watch the name Tony Adams in the 6th round....
  11. Slot corner to replace Leonard Johnson. Small, compact, good ball skills, tackler. Over 40 PBU's in his career.
  12. First day they meet: AJ: Hey big boy, looks like you spent a lot of time on twitter about 6 years ago. JA: Just a stupid kid from the Central Valley.... AJ: My wife is pretty hot... JA: Smoking.... AJ: So's your girlfriend JA: QB benefits... AJ: QB benefits.... JA: What do your think your first read is going to be in 22 X Square Slant Drag Slide Max Outside Gash AJ: I am going to look for Clay on the drag.. JA: Good call... AJ: If I had your cannon I might look for Zay on the square We have three serious workers at the QB position...this will be fun.
  13. The Bills weighted measurables and situational conditions more than in-game performance with this choice. The Bills drafted the biggest bodied, best armed, second most nimble (to Mayfield) of the top 4. The Bills have the potential of playing 10 games a year in windy and inclement northeastern weather (8 Home, NYJ and NE) and usually end up playing at least 2 and up to 4 in conditions where wind, rain, sleet, snow are a factor. They drafted the most experienced bad weather QB. Is Josh Allen raw -- yes. Has he made bad in-game reads and decisions--yes. (Plus he was a numbskull tweeter when he was in HS) Is his footwork some of the worst I have seen - yes. Is footwork tied to accuracy -- its probably the most important factor. If he can't improve his footwork will he fail - yes... Has he shown improvement in footwork through the draft process - yes Should the Bills contract with Jordan Palmer to continue to work with him - yes..because between Culley and Daboll the Bills really don't have a QB mechanics guy on staff. Am I confident Josh Allen can be our franchise guy-- no I am not but I wasn't confident about Mayfield (mental instability); Darnold (Turnover machine/bad decisions); or Rosen (Fragility and overconfidence). Bills had to get a QB--so why not go with the guy who has the physical attributes you cannot teach. Now McDermott -- tell your "O" staff to swallow some pride and bring in help. Even if it doesn't work -- I for one will not crucify Beane and McDermott. They are the first in 20 years to give this a real try.
  14. Bills lucked out immensely....another impact defender who will be great in a rotation.
  15. Damn, another liquored up kicker.. Hope he had a Secret Service detail waiting..
  16. Welcome to the board. Thanks for expressing your opinion. Before starting a new thread, it's a good practice to search the existing threads and see if your post might fit in an existing thread. Starting a new thread is really the last resort. For example, this post may have fit in the "Josh Allen draft pick thread"; the "Would Allen Have been there at 12" thread and a few others on the front page. It keeps the board more orderly and really reserves new threads for "breaking news" or "very unique perspectives". Again welcome. Good to have you on board. Are you an Ole Miss fan or just a rebel?
  17. Genetics is right. Ferrell and Felecia are both well nosed...by the way we might want to find a roster spot for Dad....still a huge target.
  18. Welcome to RBM - stands for Roster Building Mediocrity. This is the new game show for teams who pass on generational talent or potential franchise QBs to keep second-round picks that yield players who more often than not end up on someone else's roster in 3 or 4 years or out of the NFL. Last night was a unique situation. Two talents who the brain trust obviously coveted fell. McDermott said it--this team needs difference makers--you a pay a price to get them but they are worth it. The day Tremaine Edmunds steps on the field MLB, the QB of the D, goes from a below average starter who couldn't cover a fullback in the flat nor fight through a block to a guy that disposes of blocks, covers RBs and smashes TE's at the line. The day Josh Allen steps on the field he can make throws that very few if any QBs in the league can make. They are both raw as **** but we haven't seen talent like this since #12, #78, #97 retired....
  19. Still think they need to bring someone else in...look at this interview with Mayock..Allen is very comfortable with Palmer. Hell, Terry and Kim should just buy Jordan's company and have him establish a Buffalo Office.
  20. I wanted the other Josh. He is more pro ready. However, the Bills picked Allen not Rosen and now I am rooting like hell for Josh Allen. My worries are that the Bills really don't have a QB technician on staff. Culley is a WR coach; Daboll coached TE's; Robiskie is WR coach. The Bills need to put Jordan Palmer on retainer if Josh Allen's footwork and read skills have improved under his guidance. Allen has both a footwork and a read issue. The read issue is more that he has too much faith in his arm. He is slow on his progressions because he waits for someone to come open too long and then he sees a small window and thinks he can gun it into that window. His feet often aren't pointed in the direction of the throw so the super velocity is not there or it sails. The guy has all the natural talent in the world and I really don't worry about his read skills like EJ Manuel --he has a good feel for the game. Its too much arm faith and bad footwork. He needs daily instruction and the Bills, I fear, have noone to give him that. They just made a significant investment in the player--now its time to invest in a great technician to instruct him every day.
  21. Just tell McBeane its Tolbert...in fact don't even change the jersey. This CaroBills thing is so widespread we are even drafting cheap imitation caucasian versions of the Carolina QB.
  22. As always you hit the nail on the head today Kirby with a post. Superstars come in the top of the first round. The second and third rounds are Preston Browns. While we may not like the QB pick -- getting Edmunds follows that philosophy.
