You do realize that kids are beaten everyday, and women have violence against them every day also. You don't see them on the front page of the news do you?

So let me ask you this, do you think this kind of case would be plastered all over the news just like AP? Do you you'd be plastered on all major sports media outlets? Or any news outlets for that matter? No, you'd be on the last page of the news paper with one line, if at all. This is apples and oranges. Its likely your company would allow you to go through the process and still work. If found guilty then they make a decision. That's the way it should be. This is exactly right, and exactly the problem. Everyone has to have everything RIGHT NOW! No time to allow for the legal system to do its job. It's sad sad sad. Again, let me reiterate that I'm not trying to condone anything any of these people did. IF they are proven guilty, then they deserve everything they get. We don't know all the facts, AP's looks cut and dry, Ray Rice's does too, but we need to allow for the process to take place.

Very well put. However, Peterson has admitted to his wrong doing, and he himself, called it wrong. He needs to pay a pennance for that, but as you say, that doesnt make him scum, as horrible as it may seem on the cover.

In this case, I agree. He's admitted to doing this, and its disgusting. It should be looked at in a cultural setting, one that Peterson had grown up in though.

That's the exact thing I'm talking about. I'm sorry to hear your friends having to go through such ordeals. The Greg Hardy thing is cut and dry. He should not be playing another down at this point. He's been convicted. At that point, the NFL should suspend him. That's BS what is going on with him. It's really not about AP to me, its about the big picture, and the dangerous environment these stiuations are creating.

I said, I'm not condoning what Peterson did. Reread what I said please. No one here is defending Peterson for this. If CJ Spiller was GUILTY of the same, kick him out of the NFL for good and put him in the slammer for a long time.

This was not my point. My point is, this is a slippery slope. Someone can easily doctor up a photo and present it as evidence to take a player out for weeks while the legal process takes its time because of the social media factor. I'm not saying that this is happening here, but it could lead to vindicitive people who want to hurt the player any way they can. Why not hurt them where it hurts the most? Their job, their lively hood, since its just soo easy to get people to feel symptathy and so easy for those people to pursuade the powers that be to suspend players for it?

EJ is in the game manager mode right now, as it is the next step in his process. The hope is that he gets a little more of the reigns as time goes on and he takes it upon his shoulders more with success. That would be the next step. Its all a process. That's just my opinion.

I'm not a believer of numerology but that is pretty neat.

There is no consistency in the NFL's policy towards breaking the law. Its maddening. What happens if one of these cases get a verdict of not guilty. What would stop one of the players from turning around and suing the NFL for this? I don't condone child abuse or the abuse of women by men, but this is a slippery slope. If there is a vindicitive GF or vindictive wife that wants to get back at a certain player, they can scream domestic violence. With this precedent set forth, they will be suspended until the legal matter is tried and a judgement made. This sounds more like guilty until proven innocent. I don't like the way things are going.

Wunderkins is an amazing athlete! I'm so glad he is on our team. I'm going to be a bit nitpicky here, but on that first catch, when he's one on one with the defender, he's GOTTA make him miss. Thats 6 pts right there if he does. He's that kind of athlete that should be able to do that. That said, it was his first catch and he likely had some jitters! Great game either way, he's going to be a great one! Lets go Bills!!!
