Anyone else tired of hearing about Derek jeter?
HamSandwhich replied to major's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Wouldn't have blamed him if he did. They're still trying for the best record so they have something to play for. -
They are a sad bunch over there in Houston

Our rushing attack is our strength. Bills fans are salivating over the prospect of a big game for FJ and CJ. However, our Oline has been suspect this year and I would say that would be our biggest weakness. However, I think they're talented and hope they can get it together. Our run D has been absolutely a beast this year. I believe we're letting up in the low 3's for YPC. Foster will make it harder on us but if there is no Foster, I think it's going to be tough for the Texans to garner any offense. Our secondary is very talented but had underwhelmed last game. Graham is playing at a pro bowl level but has been seen as the 3rd CB last game. Hopefully that changes this game. -
Is this real life? And is this thread still going on?

Welcome to the board. I dont think anyone here is going to hope that your O line keeps Fitz clean. In fact, I think that's our biggest strength, out Dline vs your O line. Having had Fitz here for several years, we have the book on how to defend him and the Bills will likely employ an aggressive gameplan with pressure up the middle with our all world D line. If we can get consistent pressure up the middle and in Fitz's face, its going to be a long game for the Texans. So here's hoping our D line brings it on Sunday! -

Oh stop it! Even if it WAS staged, its a good story and he deserves it. I dont think its staged at all anyway. Just give the guy the respect he deserves. Over his career, he's been a real ambassador for baseball, hasnt hit his wife, hasn't been in the HGH scandals, has been respectful and a role model for kids to look up for. Even Bosox fans can respect that. Just give it up and give him his due. -

After I had seen this thread and read the article, I quickly made a reservation at Jameson Tavern in Freeport ME for this Sunday evening (after the Bills game). I'll report back here with the results when I can. I'm going to try and catch the alleged "little girl ghost" that they say is a "playful spirit." Not buying it, not going to let her ruin my meal, so I'm bringing my proton pack and I'm going to catch her before we sit down to eat. -
That's what I did too. I was screaming for Watkins, then I said "wait, could it be Mack....nahhh its Watkins". Lol. The people I was with (Giants fans) thought I was crazy for thinking out loud. Mack is a beast and a person that is easy to root for. I hope he continues to excel, unless he's playing the Bills!

I hope they can "right the ship" on this issue. Defenses now have the blue print on how to defend the Bills in the trenches. The scary part, it may not be coachable due to the lack of athletesism at the gaurd position. Pears is just not quick enough to see the delayed blitz and was beaten time after time. Did he slap your mom or something?

Where's the vine of this play? Pretty interesting article but one pictures shows a pretty clear "hands to the face" that wasn't called and allowed Royal to score. http://mashable.com/2014/09/24/crazy-nfl-photo-chargers/

What is your Buffalo Bills sickness??
HamSandwhich replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have "lateralagia runeritis" when CJ runs laterally when there is an obvious up field option or cutback and explode run type option is available. Leads to many broken remotes and or TV screens. Cured by large doses of the "Fredicillin Stiffarmacin" which is usually a geriatric medication but works really well for "lateralagia runeritis". Also, a 12 pack of Labatt Blue works well when aformentioned "Fredicillin Stiffarmacin" is out of stock. -

Tannehill on the outs in Miami

If we trade Spiller for Tannehill and not for Skelton, I'm done with this team! We should package Mario and Spiller for that future HOFer! -

ESPN suspended Bill Simmons

You don't think there's more to it? Why would he say that if ESPN hadn't told him to tone down the rhetoric? -

Loved the guy. Too bad he's still not here. I would loved to have him and Watkins here. Oh well. That chapter has closed. Will continue to root for the guy!

ESPN suspended Bill Simmons
HamSandwhich replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sarcasm? I'm pretty sure his premise is that ESPN is showing that they will suspend a person for 3 weeks for more trivial things like what Simmons is being suspended for and Goodell only suspended Rice for 2 games origionally. He's likely pointing out ESPN is trying to make a point and drive in the knife. -

EJ Manuel: "You can't go into a game thinking 'I'm going to take off on this play,'" focus is on development as a passer. Scramble is Plan B Shot across the bow to Watkins? -

Are you telling me I should start him in all of my FF leagues? EJ's appearance on the injury report is interesting. I wonder how serious it was and if it played a part in Sunday's game. It's hard to put torque on the ball when you have an ab injury. -

This guy is especially down on the Texans. I dont think any Bills fans are saying we're going to get a spanking like this from the Texans. "Can't believe the season is over after game 3, Because we all know this team has no chance of improving. Bill: 60 Watkins 300yds, 5 TD. Texans: 3 Mallet gets in late and makes a late FG drive. I think there maybe a little over reaction, after our first lose."
