  1. I have to move tomorrow that really sucks.
  2. I just read that. He can only be talking about one player. I for one am glad he called it the way he saw it. Take that Drew
  3. He's an idiot if he thinks Travis is a "reject." The so called "reject" is a pro-bowler, plays hurt, and would start on many teams in the league. What a dope.
  4. Agreed, it makes logical sense to trade him now. I can see giving that much money for another position on defense like a top DE (Not AS) but not Nate Clements.
  5. Don't we all say every year "Lets give him one more chance."
  6. Only the good die young. So sad
  7. I'm facing a possibility of the same thing happening but even worse since we have kids. Good luck
  8. To be honest I love that idea. If gives the offense a solid future and thats needed with a young QB and an explosive RB.
  9. He was saying the same crap after NE driopped him. They do seem like nice people but parents will never admitt that their offspring does anything wrong.
  10. That would be very good news and if it's true I say thank-you Travis for playing with a broken leg and being a team player (up to January)
  11. How many times did he fumble this year? I'm not saying he's not a good corner but he needs to hold on to the ball on punt returns. The thing I love about Clements is when he fumbles the ball on a punt he'll come right back with a pick ie Steelers game. I would hope that TD would make this trade for the simple reason that we won't be able to keep him. If we can keep him then lets not do the trade. Trade? yes but for more than a 9th
  12. Their's two ways of looking at this positive and negative. While I know being a Buffalo native it's hard to be positive. The city of Buffalo is in bad shape. Parks are closing cut-backs for schools, etc. The people who are still there are ones suffering, however if Buffalo can revitalize downtown, ie the waterfront, Bass pro, a new stadium, etc the rest will take care of itself. If you think that things can't get any worse for Buffalo just try standing pat. I watched it happen here in Columbus. This was a small city when I came here in 83 but then one sky scraper after another went up and I think its safe to say their was a trickle down effect. The downtown area is beautiful with a stadium for the Blue Jackets and even the "bad parts of downtown have improved.
  13. Now would be a good time to bring up the issue at least with all the stadium proposals this year it would be only right that the state of of New York put one in downtown Buffalo. It would be HUGE for the city of fallen Buffalo
  14. Maybe they should try something else it doesn't seem to be helping
  15. The stadium opened in 1973 not 74. The first game I went to was in the 1st or 2nd week in November 1973 against the Bengals before they had those ugly stripes on their helmets. The Bengals kicked a last second field goal to break the tie and win the game but just before that OJ had thrilled the crowd, which he did quite a bit that year with a nice TD run.
  16. You are correct sir. The guy made some freakish circus catches whenever he was called on. Chicks loved his good looks kids wanted to be him because the way he played with reckless abandon. He was fun to watch. He was the man. RIP Bobby
  17. I agree. I think the chances are better that the Bills take a DE or DT than a CB on day 1.
  18. I'll agree with that assessment. To me Teague would do no better or no worse than John Fina which is bad news for the Bills O-line again this year. When Fina was playing left tackle how many times did we wish for an improvement in that position. Come on man how long will the O-line be a weak spot in Buffalo? I know a lot of posters have said in "TD I trust" but looking at our record and the offensive line history since he has arrived along with no playoffs I have no idea why some of us would say that. Please don't give the "He helped us out of cap hell" because that is the standard job of every GM in todays NFL. The GM's of the pre-salary cap had to learn the hard way to manage the cap ie Butler
  19. Come on, all you want to know is "Is he cute?"
  20. Agreed. He will compete but I don't expect much out of this signing. Another Gandy.
  21. Oh so true. It's time to get it done. I guess I'm in the minority also because this deal should have already happened. Their is obviously not a whole lot of interest out their even though Travis is one hell of a warrior and two consectutive years 1000 yard runner. I get the sick feeling we'll end up with niether Travis or LJ. This trade would help both teams but it might hurt Buffalo more than the Cards if it is not made. The chances of the Cards finding a solid RB via trade or draft are better than TD being able to plug in a rookie center or LT defending the blind side of a first year QB. Duck and run JP!
  22. Using draft picks to improve the offensive line will help down the line but not this year. I think your right in that they will use that No 2 pick on an offensive linemen but what has TD done to improve a line that was in dire need of improvement WITH Jonas Jennings?
  23. Wow, 19 posts and your otta here. In the words of David Spade and Helen Hunt and before you say another thing...BU BYE
  24. That would be just plain crazy. I'm not sure if you were joking but a No 2 on a kicker? Too many other needs and I don't want another OSU player.
