I was trying really hard to ignore that fact. -

While the defense has failed us in some games their would be no winning streak without them. They are a good defense that accels by take-aways not sacks. That said their biggest weakness is at the two ends. We STILL don't have a pass rusher who can put consistant pressure on the QB. How many times can you get a takeaway give it to Drew & Co only to come back on the field after another 3 & out? Every great defense has to have at least a ball control offense but not a high scoring one. Defense let us down, but far from the most glaring weakness on this team. -
To the Dump Drew crowd: What about MM?

Well, we will never know since JP was hurt for most of the season and lost valuable practice time because of Troy Vincent. I believe that Drew can only take us so far and I never stopped believing that at any time during the season. What MM was doing by leaving him in their with a winning streak was sending a message which was keep winning and you'll keep playing and I think it was the right desision with JP only a rookie. If he says Drew is the starter next season he along with some fans are in denial. He has proven time after time that he will choke in big games and with a good defense. Bledsoe and the Bills should be over and it's time to move on. JP will not be ready until 2009 so, I guess we should get a free agent QB. -
Their is really no way of knowing if he'll be ready or not. I like what I see though. I'm sure the Bills feel he'll be ready if needed otherwise why even pick him and send Dallas the first pick. It's to much to expect a rookie to be productive. While their are exceptions their are few. Let the kid at least be given the chance in pre-season to compete for the starting job.

Forgive me if I am wrong on this....but

No John, he's not ready. Don't you know that people can already tell he's nowhere near NFL ready? We just picked him No 1 to have him learn off of Bledsoe Just ask Darin he'll tell you. -
Yeah, I'm talking about Losman also jerk. All hail Darin. The thing I love about you is your so much smarter than 99% of the board

It didn't take TH long to run his mouth

I hope we can get a second but their are so many free agent RB's this year but your right about him having no cap impact. It' will be interesting. -
I've watched a few games myself and it's enough to know that Drew will wallow in mediocrity as well as the team. You simply can't say "JP Losman is nowhere near ready to compete at the NFL level" Oh the feeling is so mutual Darin!

If you still want Bledsoe as QB their's really not much to say other than a lot of people disagree
-
None of us will know to next season will we?
-
What are you talking about? Has he started 1 game as a Bill? You kill me. I know you can look into the future and see him failing. Here's a better recruiting: Tell your free agent wide reciever that you have all the pieces in place but tell him Bledsoe is your QB. Give the guy a freaking chance
-
How the hell do you know it will fail? My God the guy hasn't started 1 freaking game and your already saying this NO 1 pick is a bust. Please stop with your cyystal ball.
-
I guess the question is will he take a pay cut? I doubt it. He's not worth his cap money but in this instance I think an exception should be made given he still has 2 or 3 more good years and he's leader on an offense and other than Willis maybe the only leader on offense. If they cut him they better have someone else in free agency that has plenty of talent and is not a cancer.
-
Yeah, I do think Williams turned the corner this year but as far as Drew goes I guess the short term sold tickets but those same people now feel a bit betrayed by Drew for consistently failing in games that he needs to play well, so overall it's a failure. For every failure their seems to be a sucessful selection like Willis. That was a huge chance that only TD was willing to take and a lot of teams now wish they had done the same. As far as I'm concerned he was the MAIN reason for the turnaround.
-
That bothered me also. You could hear a roar from the crowd on TV and those yellow towels. We need to make it home field advantage. I think the 12th man needs to improve along with the rest of the team. How did so many Stiller fans get tickets? Does anyone know how long this game was sold out prior to Sunday?
-
I'll take him over Drew. If he can't get it done then someone else will have to come in, but I have confidence that Losman will help the Bills turn the corner.
-
Plenty of blame to go around but the most important were the missed field goal by Lindell. That was a huge momentum breaker for the Bills. Then the final killer was the ever so familiar play in which Drew gets hit, fumbles the ball, and the other teams turns it into 7 points. I thought Eric had another bad outing but I hope he stays next year for less money but he could be gone. Who was on Lee Evans? He was kept in check most of the game. The guy who carried the offense was Mcgahee. I can just imagine what the season would have been like without him. The defense played well in the first half but caved in the second but why? I don't know but maybe they got sick of giving Drew the ball and watching him do nothing possitive. If you were on that defense would you be po'd? Still, we have a good team and coach their are just some changes that need to be made
-
At least they were exciting to watch but to go to the next level next year some changes need to be made. Congrats MM
-
I agree. Kurt Warner is Drew Bledsoe. I give Bledsoe the slight edge. No thanks
-
Man, and I just got my second Moulds Jersey for Christmas
-
Kurt=Drew

How would it be doing an "Eli Manning" next year? Eli was a rookie on a very bad team. On the other hand JP did not play as a rookie, had time to learn the offense, and I guess we'll never know how he could have performed as a rookie thanks to Troy Vincent. I also think he was coached well. In fact he was told by coaches" Did you just see what Bledsoe Did?" "Do that and you will not start."

Tell that to Andre Reed.
