    Yeah, that's kind of the point I was getting at. Plays that put him in danger of injury (which happened by the way) and then shows lack of hustle when the play gets away from him.

    Sure. But Goodwin's speed is world class and we have to make sure we have a guy to take his spot if we choose to let him go. I feel like he won't be too expensive though.

    Again, shoulder tackling like that is actually more dangerous than proper form tackling. Don't think he was avoiding contact but he definitely showed lack of hustle a few times.

    Goodwin has been pretty good this year. Better than Cruz at least.

    Agreed. Cardale won't be ready, EJ won't be here, free agents look so-so. Not seeing a better choice right now. The offensive nucleus will be here next year and we either keep or replace woods and Goodwin. All we have to do is fix the holes on defense and we are still ready to make a run. Theoretically of course.

    I mean, there was that one where he basically ran the route for the defender and cut in front of him for the pick and almost took it to the house. Think that was Cincinnati?

    Guys, shoulder tackling is actually less safe than proper tackling. He was not playing to save his body. He just isn't very good at tackling. Still played decent in coverage.

    He should be considered. The players seem to respond well to him and he's well respected around the league. See who he wants for DC and if it sounds good maybe he's the right guy.

    This game felt similar to the Seattle game. Both intense, close games that we just couldn't close out. But this time our offense rose to the occasion when they needed to and the defense & teams let them down. It was fun to watch but I'm left with the same sadness especially of everything else breaks our way.

    Jerry's twin brother Larry apparently kidnapped him and has been playing in his stead. Or maybe Jerry asked him to play for him? Hard to know.

    Agreed. And Glenn can always go back to LT if we wanna let CK go and draft an RT in 2018.

    Yep. Easy hindsight decision but Carp was stellar early on and was brought in because Hopkins was hurt. And didn't he get hurt the second preseason too? I don't remember. Although for as many weeks as we've been willing to keep two kickers wemail probably could have kept Hopkins a little longer.

    Cardale is on the roster either way. Tyrod should get one more game to prove himself for next year. He was great today and there is no reason ton shut him down now.

    Team game. Tyrod stepped up and the coaches, defense and special teams all let him down.

    I see it this way: Rex and TT both playing for their lives. Rex folded, TT stepped up in a big way. TT was not ready at the start of this year but he may be next year.
