  1. That Urgency clip is incredible.
  2. The Hawks have done a hell of a job developing lower round or undrafted players. They have traded out of the first round or 3 of the last 4 years (last year they traded down but stayed in the first round). So many of their defensive talents were drafted late or not at all (Wright, Sherman, Chancellor, Bennett, Avril, etc.)
  3. Moore wants to be a backup.
  4. True. My Steelers fan friend also repeatedly hates on Haley and the inconsistency with their offense. Also think Ben and Haley have had their disagreements over the years.
  5. I GET IT I MADE A MISTAKE haha. I just remember that he was out the other day and I Googled the inactives to see if he was out this week too and I ended up reading last weeks again.
  6. Sorry I was reading the wrong inactives list. I still think the OL thing works both ways. When Rodgers scrambles around his OL is able to regain or hold their blocks more often than not. I think if you have Nelson-Cobb-Adams as your top 3 WR you are good to go there. TE position is OK. Just a lack of RB depth but getting down to your third back late in the season is just bad luck and hard to replace anyway, as teams like Denver tried to bring in guys (Forsett) and they have provided little, if any, help. Overall I agree that the Packers roster is not as top-to-bottom loaded as some of the other teams in the league, especially on D, but it's still a pretty good roster, made better by an incredible QB.
  7. WR: Jordy Nelson got hurt earlier in this game, Randall Cobb is inactive RB: Lacy on IR, James Starks inactive, Montgomery is a WR forced to play RB on account of the injuries (lack of RB depth could be a fault of the FO, sure) Their OL has ranked in the PFF top 5 the last two seasons. Rodgers may help a little, but I think you're underrating them a little there.
  8. Injuries have been an issue with the skill guys this year, but the talent is there. Good OL too. Defense continues to be a work in progress.
  9. This continues to be the only constant among the Patriots, Steelers, Packers, etc.
  10. No amount of planning can stop the play he made onthat 3rd and 22 or whatever it was on that final drive. Unfortunately the flip side of it is that he couldn't get the TD with four tries from the 10. But the key is that the big play he made is the product of natural ability, while the red zone abilities can be coached (of course the blocking, playcalling, etc also all had an influence on the outcome too).
  11. Rodgers going back, and back...
  12. Yeah. Getting CJ Anderson back and drafting or signing some better OL could create a very potent offense.
  13. Tyrod may not be consistent enough as a passer, but his all around abilities make him really hard to gameplan for.
  14. Agreed. Just much cheaper. And they did still nearly make the playoffs.
  15. Marrone-esque. Or Rex-esque? Good punt though.
  16. Obj with the elite hands.
  17. Was Miami really that improved? Let's see what happens with them next year.
  18. I think for us it's more of a stigma now. Don't want the drought to continue to be a narrative looming over us. But obviously I'd rather be out of the playoffs for 20 years and then win a championship a la the Kansas City Royals than whatever the Lions and Dolphins just did.
  19. So he can be our coach for 30 years!
  20. Oakland was absolutely not a bubble team, just unlucky.
  21. Yeah, we kepy Cordy, Richie and TT... Of course if we decline TT's option that opens up the budget, plus we no longer have a first round salary being paid to our backup QB. That savings can be parlayed into bringing in a vet starting QB, WR, DB, or a keeping guy like Gilmore.
  22. One of the reasons we need to bring back Lorenzo. Also I remember Adolphus being touted as a leader, but then he goes and gets himself benched week 17. Dunno what to make of that.
  23. I have no idea what we're going to do at DB if Gilmore walks. S and CB both become high priorities. I mean, Seymour and Roberson strike me as backups right now, though I know they were high on Seymour.
  24. Zach Brown's play fell off in the second half and Lorax is getting old. However, No one is talkling about Lorax going; I actually think we bring him back at a reasonable price and let him rotate in on D while continuin to beat a beast on teams.
  25. I mean, it's not like Rex ran a straight 3-4. His playbook involves a lot of looks... including plays with only 10 men.
