I think you need both. Guys like Aldon Smith and Greg Hardy are about as useless as EJ Manuel. Talent has the slight edge, because Smith and Hardy have contributed more to an NFL team than EJ, but they've also held teams back. But I think we need to dissociate smoking weed with poor character. It isn't beating women, it isn't laziness, etc. It may be selfish or short-sighted because at this point they know they can lose their jobs for it, but they aren't worse people because they smoke.

I feel like it would have been easier to put the second round tender on groy and then not bother with Ducasse, but let's see what happens.

I do worry about this guy's health. I'd rather sign Brandon Carr for a 1-2 year deal. He's older, but he hasn't missed a game in 5 years and I'd say he's the better player.

Good news guys, I spoke to Whaley and he feels so silly for forgetting about the WR position. We had a good laugh about it. Expect him to address it sometime between now and training camp.

They used Groy as a 6th linemen a few times. Maybe he's got some versatility and can factor into the T battle, but that wouldn't be my first thought.

I get that it was just the bro bowl, but Lorax played off the ball a lot and was very good. I think he'll be less productive than last year but still productive. And a great guy for the locker room.

Maybe they are just loading up for a final big run.
