  1. I could see maybe going with Obi and Zay Jones and then using the Falcons' 63rd pick on Sidney Jones.
  2. Sure! Haha. There really is a lot of DB talent to choose from.
  3. Have you ever tried a cricket though?
  4. Obviously depends on how it all falls, but could see Cunningham, maybe Kevin King? Obi?
  5. I get that, I'm just wondering who that final piece might be. 21 picks is a lot to jump in the first round. You'd really have to believe that's all you need and then you'd better get a ring.
  6. I just can't see the Falcons making that big of a move. We could move down twice maybe, but who could the Falcons possibly want that they would jump that high? That's like a sell out, final piece of the puzzle kind of move.
  7. Breeland is not that good.
  8. Good call. The dude has great body control and ball tracking, runs good routes. I am concerned about the medical stuff, but the skill alone is top tier.
  9. If we trade back and all of those guys are off the board, we may never know!
  10. Now all the other GMs know our board! Good going!
  11. Oh man, it was crazy! Also, go Sens!
  12. OK so I've been away from this thread for a while and I don't know if it's been discussed yet but I saw this tweet from Pro Football Rumors that Cyrus may actually be suffering from schizoaffective disorder? Pro Football Rumors‏ @pfrumors 2h 2 hours agoMore Could #BuffaloBills tackle Cyrus Kouandjio be suffering from drug-induced psychosis? https://www.profootballrumors.com/2017/04/cyru…
  13. On a scale of 4 to 20, how 420'd are you?
  14. What happened to Bobrovsky? So bad this series...
  15. For the most part, a player who is good enough can flourish in any system. Kyle has played in a bunch of systems and has always performed admirably; Hughes racked up 10 sacks in Pettine's scheme and Schwartz's scheme; Dareus may not have been utilized properly in Rex's scheme, but his 2015 season really wasn't bad (of course we're hoping the 2016 issues were a fluke); and we can go on, including offense of course. Certainly some players who aren't all-world excel in certain schemes more than others, but I really don't think we have been using the draft to pick players based purely on our scheme. In fact, all scheme-specific players or utility players we bring in are signed for very reasonable #'s (Jim Leonhard, Brandon Spikes, Zach Brown as examples). I believe we drafted Lawson, Ragland and Washington because we thought highly of them as players and not pieces in a specific defense. Heck, I think Shaq Lawson might even be better in a 4-3 than Rex's 3-4. Meanwhile I also think that they believe Lorax is a valuable player who can play a variety of roles on the defense. They didn't feel that way about Zach Brown, so they let him go and will figure something else out.
  16. So much to keep up with, though!
  17. Much needed perspective for all of us blowing up about a situation that still hasn't been resolved anyway.
  18. He was stellar. But DiMarco is younger and more useful in the passing game. We get him for many years instead of re-upping an aging Felton for another year or two. I get your point about not wanting to tinker with the run game too much, but I think it may speak to who they think really matters (O line, Shady) in the offense and may also indicate we won't live and die by the run on Dennison's offense.
  19. Maybe when McDermott said the WR2 was already on the roster... He was talking about Sammy. 😎
  20. My goodness. I leave the wall for a few hours and this thread has doubled in size.
  21. Big Ben was #11 overall. Sure, we were 13 that year but most years that pick is there for us. I get this argument, but again it's more complicated than that. Plenty of top 10 pick quarterbacks fail or end up mediocre. Meanwhile Aaron Rodgers was drafted in the 20s, Carr in the 2nd round, Wilson in the 3rd, Brady in the 6th and so on.
  22. You're not wrong. I definitely was not down with OBJ as the pick and in hindsight I would have loved to sit at pick 9 and take him (although I don't know if Rexy would have been able to handle his personality very well - assuming the rest of our team's history remains unchanged). I watched Ross quite a few times being up here in Seattle and I do really love the talent. It is the injury history more than the height that scares me off a little at 10. Trade down a few spots and take him, a-ok with me.
  23. Pats also got a second round pick for a player they didn't need on the last year of his contract. Cooper was just a bonus.
